I'm not really sure Castle would do that. He seems very protective and respectful towards her – like in the episode Hedge Fund Homeboys where the teen suspect was baiting her by making sexual suggestions… Castle got so annoyed that he wanted Beckett to arrest the delinquent on the spot, with no proof other than the kid was being a spoiled jerk.

I find Castle is kind of a mixture of contradictions. I mean our first glimpses of him is in sunglasses, and posing with pretty girls and signing chests. Then, we see him join Alexis and his mom and complain his life is boring, everything is so predictable. Then we have all the moments where Castle acts spoiled/childish (phoning the mayor to get their results faster, gettng all excited over his first cold case…), but he's also protective and sensitive (above example by nalissa, refusing to tell Alexis she's anything but pretty when shes' trying to find a prom dress, listening to Beckett about her parents and then becoming stressed over telling her the new information).

I think all of this is what makes Castle such an interesting character. He's got layers, and we learn more about him based on who he's with and the situation.
