We're very excited to announce that we'll be celebrating the 1 year anniversary of Castle with a special chat session. We'll have a member of the cast stopping by!
But!…. we're not going to tell you who the guest is, we'd like it to be a surprise (yes, I am evil!). Questions will be taken in advance but instead of asking you to submit questions for a particular person we'll ask you to submit questions for ALL the cast members .
The chat will take place on Monday March 1 beginning at 10pm Eastern time ( There is no Castle scheduled to air this week).
Because I'm exepcting this to be a very busy chat session I will ask people to restrict their questions to one question for each cast member per person OR a question that can be answered by any cast member
UPDATE: We've now announced that THREE cast members will be joining us for chat

OfflineWill there be a separate thread for submitting questions or do we place them in this thread? Just curious because I have a question or two I'd like to ask but would like to know the proper location to submit them.
Ashes to ashes,

Offline- Stana: Do you think any of your hobbies (ie. archery) will be incorporated into the show? Maybe some of Beckett's past times?
- Nathan: With your experience on 'Doctor Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog', do you think Castle could ever do a similar comedic musical episode, or would it be too corny?
- Jon: Has your past experience on 'Generation Kill' affected how you portray Esposito? Will we get to see some of his past later on in the show?
- Seamus: Why don't you join the crowd and just get a twitter account already?

I'll see if I can come up with more after my exams this week
EDIT: By more, I mean more for OTHER cast members.
Castle = Awesomesauce. The end.

OfflineAw man! I was all excited that my Amy Grant concert night fell on a empty Castle night so I wouldn't miss anything. Sadly, I'll have to miss the chat, but I'll be looking forward to the transcript and hopefully some updates throughout the evening from my Twitter friends since I won't be able to follow on my phone.
Now to try and come up with a general cast question…….

Stana also sings (and has a lovely voice at that)… maybe there could be some kind of karaoke duet in the future? Now, that would be hilarious!
And my question,
To any of the cast members: The set of "Castle" seems like such a fun group of people to hang out with. Do you guys ever play practical jokes on each other? If so, what one stands out in your mind the best?
To any cast member (again): What kind of storyline would you like to see your character face next?

Question for Nathan: You have played a diverse group of characters very convincingly in your career. I would like to know which of the characters you've played do you think is most like you and why, and which character have you enjoyed playing the most and why?
Question for Stana: It has been mentioned that you speak several languages. How many do you speak and what are they?
Question for Jon: You seem to have been cast perfectly as Esposito. Are any of his mannerisms or phrases things that you added to the role to make it seem so natural for you?
Question for Seamus: Will we see more of Ryan's personal life in upcoming episodes?
Questions for another cast member: What do you like most about working on Castle? What do you like least?

OfflineThis is wonderful and I'm so excited. Hard to believe that my favorite show is coming up on year 1 anniversary. Thanks to everyone at Castletv.net for hosting this and all of the other great chats you have given us. Your hard work is appreciated. I also want to send out a big thank you to the cast member who has agreed to take time out of their day to chat with us. Having said that, I'll get to my questions for the chat.
Here are my questions and they can be addressed by any cast member:
1. What first attracted you to the role that you portray on Castle?
2. Where would you like to see the writers take your character?
3. How much input do you have in your character’s development?
4. How did you prepare when you first learned that you had the job on Castle?
5. What is your favorite episode so far? Why?
6. We are all very big fans of Castle, but also love to follow all the cast in other projects as well. Do you have any upcoming projects besides Castle that you want fans to be aware of?
7. Are there any particular B stories on the show so far that you would like to see further developed?
8. Naturally all of us are excited about this and I’m sure that you are thrilled as well, but how do you feel about the way the show has increased viewership and is becoming more and more popular?

OfflineSome folks have already asked some questions I was planning on submitting, so I won't duplicate. Here is my question:
Prior to being cast on Castle, had you worked with, met, or seen any of your co-stars' previous work?

OfflineI'm so excited for this…great questions everyone!
I have one more for any cast member:
Do you watch any of the Castle episodes in their finished form or when they air with the rest of us? If so, do you just watch them for enjoyment like we do or are you critiquing your performance and looking for things you would do differently with your character?

Offlinefor any Cast Member: ARe there any traditions or running gags on set? I read about how on Firefly everyone would yell Summer! when someone messed up on a line and I was curious if anything occurse like that on the Castle set.
I'm so psyched for this chat, no way am I missing this!

OfflineStana: Since Castle, do you find that people/public recognize you more now? If so, how do you find the experience of being recognized in public? Besides Castle, what other projects are you working on? Will you still find the time to do movies?
Nathan: You often talked about how much you loved working on "Firefly", how do you find the experience so far working on "Castle?" You and Stana have this amazing on-screen chemistry, do you think that your relationship (how you get along) off screen have plenty to do what we see on screen? It never seems like you guys are acting, it's so natural. Have you ever worked on a show where the experience was just unpleasant?
Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever: Will we get a back story on your characters this season? Or maybe next? What would you like to see from your characters as the season(s) progresses?
Molly Quinn: Alexis will be in 12th grade next season, do you think she will choose to stay in New York? Or move away to college? How do you think her Dad will react?
Susan Sullivan: It's great to see you again. I have watched you in "Falcon Crest" and also "Dharma & Greg," your character Martha on Castle is still a mystery to the viewers, do you think that we will finally get to know the real story behind who Castle's father is? What would you like to see happen to your character? Also, will Martha ever push Richard to fess up his true feelings for Kate?
Ruben Santiago-Hudson: We still know very little about your character Capt. Roy Montgomery, will we get more background on him? Though we don't often see it, I love the scenes with you and Stana, and Stana had mentioend in the past that she would love to do more scenes with you, do you think that we will get a backstory on the Montgomery/Beckett relationship (mentor/student or father/daughter)? In an interview, you mentioned how much you enjoy working on "Castle", can you tell us something about what makes each actor special or unique?
Andrew Marlowe: To me the show is about courtship, Castle courting Beckett, and so many times, I have heard the term "jumping the shark" too soon, but there's also that danger of the viewers getting frustrated, as what has happened with the fans of "Bones" and that ridiculous Season Finale last year which resulted in a backlash from the fans, what will you do differently to avoid the same thing happening to "Castle?" You have got great writers, and I really don't think that getting the two leads together, will result in the fans losing interest. When will we find out who ordered the hit on Beckett's mother?
