I am sooooooooooo bummed that I will miss the chat tonight.  I sure hope the transcript will be posted quickly…I hate missing out on the excitement I know will be generated with THREE cast members.

Pat on the back for ADMIN, you are truly amazing.  It is so nice to be on a forum where the cast members of a show feel welcome to "come join in" with the fans.  Makes it feel like one big family with all of us rooting for the same thing:  a long successful run of a very fun show.

Not sure if it's too late already, but I'm just getting around to posting mine:

For all (shorten as you wish if you use it Admin): Now that you have the experience of having a playing the same character for 2 seasons, what types of things do you do to cultivate your character's style and behaviors given that you have more time for long term development than with a single movie role. Are there quirks that you are allowed to develop for your characters that maybe were not specified in the script? Does your approach to playing the character evolve over time?

For Stana: You were awesome in "Meeting of Minds", a perfect Cleopatra. We would love to see you do more stage work. Do you have any plans to maybe do more one night events or short run plays during hiatus?

Well, that's it, I see I'll have to wake up in the middle of the night to join the chat.
I hope the chat treats me well and doesn't kick me out being too crowded or sth.
Gotta set my alarm clock.
And thank you Admin. You're great. smile

OK Castle, but it's accompany and observe, and not participate and annoy, got it?

Ok here are my questions Admin! tried to think of some that haven't been asked before! (sorry if they have been)

Nathan: I've been an extra a couple of times and being on set creates a really exciting atmosphere. However, I know there is a lot of waiting around involved, and the shoots can be very long. What's your favorite thing about being on set, and what's your least favorite thing about being on set?

Stana: Would you ever be interested in directing an episode of Castle? Or if you had to choose another job in the TV-making process (DP, writer, editor, costume designer etc.), what would you choose?

Seamus: I am taking a filmmaking class right now, and I've found that sometimes I get haunted by dialogue that I've shot and edited- what I mean is that when I hear a word or phrase that was in my short film- I immediately flashback to that scene, because I've heard it repeated so much. Does that ever happen to you?

Jon: Any progress made in getting Evangeline Lilly as your love interest?? bounce:

If you need more questions for a certain person, I guess some of those questions could be for any cast, so feel free to use them for different cast members if you want!

I have two last minute questions that could be asked to anyone:

• How would you like to see your character develop in the next year?
• What is your least favorite trait of your character?

I have a few last-minute questions as well.

General – Do fans send you actual gifts a lot, or is it just cards?

Jon Huertas/Nathan Fillion – How often do you tweet on set?
Seamus Dever – Has the hazing actually stopped, as they said it would?
Stana Katic – How much do you enjoy viewing all the submissions for "Fan Photo of the Week"?

I can't believe all these awesome questions. You guys rock! This could be for any of the cast members….

-do any of you hang out off the set?
-what is it like doing the commentaries for the episodes used in the dvds?

I was scanning quickly, but I don't think I saw this exact question to any cast member: We've heard you work 14-17 hours days when you're shooting. What is one of those days typically like? Is it constantly busy or is there downtime, and if so, what do you do with it? (I think this part was aked by someone.) Are some members of the main cast coming in later/leaving earlier or is everyone there most of the time?

With 14-17 hour days, how do you guys find time to keep in such good shape?  It isn't like you can fully exercise during down time during a day, the hair and make-up people  wouldn't be very happy.  And I've seen craft services spreads, not always most healthy eating.

Sorry – last minute questions from me too, if that's ok:

To all:
What's the best practical joke that's been pulled on set, who's pulled the most practical jokes on set, and what's the score? (IE, Who pulls the jokes, and how many have they done?)

Also, what's the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Happy chatting, and see you there.

For any of the NYPD part of the cast:
There have been many ensemble (and duo) police shows set in a precinct (Barney Miller, Hill Street Blues, and many others). How does the cast of Castle achieve realism and yet give us entertainment, how do you go about carving out your own distinct niche in this genre? Do you draw from, admire any previous shows of this type?

I'm working here until a good fast food job opens up!

A few more last minute questions–I apologize if similar ones have previously been posted, or if these are too late:

For Stana/Nathan– I know both of you can each sing, so is there a chance we might see that at all in the show? As another layer to either of your characters, perhaps?

For anyone–

Do you have in your mind a backstory for your character that influences you as you read a script and prepare for a scene? I understand different actors work and prepare differently, and was curious to know if you had maybe filled in some storylines and background for your character.

Do you watch episodes back at all? If so, when–as they air or later in the week? Do you critique yourself or do you watch episodes back for other reasons? How much do you know about what the final product of an episode will look like?

As you reflect back on the one year anniversary on the show, what are some of your thoughts as to where you want to see your character's story go? How do you want to see them grow? What are your thoughts on the future direction the show and its general story?

Avatar: Taija Castle: Don't leave town? Don't you need probable cause for something like that? Beckett: Only he doesn't know that, does he? Castle: You can *lie* like that? That is so cool…*puts pen to paper*
