We’re happy to announce the first Castle Charity Fan Convention featuring special guests from the cast and crew of Castle! The non-profit 1 day event will be held in Los Angeles at a date to be announced.

We’re working hard to finalize all the details so please bear with us until we can announce the specifics including date, venue, guests and more.

You know, frankly, I'm not sure if it's the right time for a convention. The show is still on the air. The cast and crew work 14-18 hours daily plus promotional duties. It seems a bit much to be asking them to participate in this kind of panel on their personal time. Comic-Con and Paley are different because they fall under show obligations. Fan-organized activities, however, … I don't know. When the show ends, then yes. It can be like a nice farewell party.

Even though I'm still on the wrong coast, I may actually plunk down the money and go to this.  Sounds like too much fun to pass up.  I just hope it's not between January and mid-April when my job gets really busy.

As much as I'd love to come, I don't see it happening. My husband's unemployed and we are barely scraping by on what I'm making. I'd give my oldest child for a chance to meet the cast, but maybe another time. (my oldest child is 22 just in case anyone wants to know. and he'd go willingly. He adores Stana and Nathan. LOL)

Oh, That would be a FABULOUS idea!!!! It would also be a great way to continue to increase the donation to the charity. A couple of dollars at a time from those of us who can't be there to join the rest of you.
