I'm going to suggest we meet for dinner or lunch (I think it's open for lunch, at least) at El Compadre on Sunset Blvd.  They can accomodate a large party, they have awesome flaming margaritas, the salsa with the chips is heavenly, and the food is good old Mexican comfort food.  It's generally a stop for people about to go the various clubs down Sunset Blvd.  Very important to carbo load before going clubbing.

I agree Pam, if I'm able to make it I would love to hang out and go travel around the area with whoever else is up for it. I've never been to LA so everything will be completely new to me.

Why thank you Sarah! What I meant when I replied though was that I have a friend who is currently in Japan and she will be moving to Virginia Beach sometime this Spring/Summer. I am planning to go see her a bunch of times while she's here, but now that I think about it she is within driving distance so I can work my visit with her around whenever our fan get-together is. :)

Sounds like fun….I'm a maybe…not sure I can swing it…I will be in LA in two weeks for my birthday and I usually do a girls golf weekend in July…so it will depend on the date. 

I'm most worried about transportation once I'm down there. I've got more FF miles than I know what to do with and I know where to stay, but I just need to know where we'd meet and all of that. I dislike driving so the less I have to do, the better.

I don't mind being a driver either if I end up being able to go…used to drive cars for a living, so it's not a problem for me. Now, directions, that's a different story (love my GPS)!
