Maybe we can all coordinate where to stay too. Or at least some of us.

I think carpooling would be easier. But that's just me. lol. I've never used public transit before so that would be very new to me. Normally to get to the places I go it's either walking or carpooling.

If there is a get together in July, I will most likely be able to drive up, as I live less than an hour away. I have to go away for one weekend over the summer, but that hasn't been determined yet, so hopefully it won't clash with the meet up plans. I'm quite accustomed to driving around LA, I'm up there frequently and the public transport up there sucks, in my opinion, so cars are most necessary. Castle won't be filming then, but we could drive by Raleigh Studios on Melrose, in homage, or we could drive to the music center and pose in the fountain where the model was murdered in "Inventing the Girl", lol. There is no shortage of things to do while in LA having fun with a group :)

Yeah, it would be fun if there were other specific locations that might be used for the rest of the season. The music center is a popular location so that was easy to spot, but a lot of their locations are kind of non-descript downtown LA areas to double as NYC. The music center is a group of 3 different theaters and across the street is the Disney Concert Hall, and I'm pretty sure they used those steps in one episode too.

Really? I'm going to have to go back and check that one out, I hadn't noticed that. I'm familiar with the building, it's overlooking the freeway and it's the strangest looking structure with a big spiral on top, we wondered for months what it could possibly be. I think they filmed some part of "Glee" there too. It's actually directly across from the downtown/music center area. It's that older section of LA that has the old architecture the most looks like NYC.

At least there is ample time to make note of possible stops on the Castle tour, lol. They should film at the Pacific Design center, that would give us a reason to visit "Millions of Milkshakes" across the street, not that we need a reason to do that, we can go there anyway, lol. It's one of my favorite places. If we run out of stops on the Castle tour, we can switch over to the food tour, we have milkshakes, cupcakes and lots of other fun places to eat :)

Do we have any idea what day(s) we are talking about all getting together? I don't want to book tickets out there only to find out my flights conflict with whenever the get-together(s) will be. I know it's the weekend of the 16th but anything more specific as to which day(s) that weekend would be very helpful.

That would be awesome for all of youse guys who go to get a group photo somewhere that Castle has been filmed (so the rest of us would recognize it) and then post it on this website so those of us who can't come can live thru you vicariously. 

I know you're going sometime in July, I wonder when they'll start filming season three, wouldn't that likely be in July sometime?  (and YES, I know no one's officially announced Castle's been selected for season three yet, but I can't imagine ABC NOT picking them up for a season three considering the numbers keep growing). 

Since I'm from Florida, I would love to share a place to stay and carpool with someone…I have never been to California.  Lots of other states (and countries)but not there.

As of this moment, it it looking like I'll likely be staying at the SLS Hotel on a rec from someone on this forum. I'd have to check out the other hotels she suggested, but that one is my top contender.
