LOL when I first read that I was thinking "so what?" then I realised you guys have a cold winter LOL. Here in Aust the speedo is commonly referred to as a "budgie smugler" but we do have the Bondi Icebergs who swim in icy water in winter so more crazies.

Seamus Dever Team Castle got 7th place in our division at the Malibu Triathalon. We also raised $17,000 for Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Thanks to everyone who donated!

From what I understand, the top participate of each section of each team were totalled together to make each team's score or something so because castle only HAD 3 members, (other teams may have had more) they did pretty well, and wow! $17,000 – way to go!! And honestly, the fund-raising it what the event's really about.

$17,000 will buy a lot of stuff for the lab! I don't care if someone swallowed sea water, fell off the bike, and crawled to the finish line. There are plenty of kids at the hospital who may get better because of it. Anyone who raises money for research is a saint in my book.

Plus its 34k with Disney's matching contribution. And Children's Hospital LA is a great hospital and does tremendous work for the community.

I agree, it's a really important cause and it's great to see the Castle team supporting it. I have all the more respect for these talented people :)

Thx for the pix lilmac! I must correct myself. According to Stana's lovely pink sign, Team Castle Rocks! Aicha & I have been telling everybody that Team Castle kicks butt. In retrospect, 'Rocks' is probably more appropriate.
