I haven't driven in that area in several years and have never heard of Le Montrose, so I asked family, friends and co-workers.  No one had heard of the hotel but everyone remembered the area around the hotel as quiet, residential and safe.

A co-worker who lives on the west side mentioned he had heard that Beverly Hills has stopped most of their free street parking so …… I called Le Montrose this morning and asked about parking availability for someone driving there to visit a hotel guest.  Street parking is available on Hammond between 7 am and 7 pm, after 7 pm the street parking on Hammond is Permit Only (she told me that most of West Hollywood is permit only after 7 pm and it is enforced – they will ticket you and tow your car).  After 7 pm, if you are visiting a hotel guest, you can part in the hotel's parking structure – entrance to the structure is via the Valets only – just pull into the loading zone area).  The cost for parking in the structure is $7 for the first 3 hours and $7 for each additional hour — sorry I forgot to ask if there was a daily maximum for parking.

There aren't any meters more than a few car lengths north of Santa Monica Blvd in BH. I'm usually parked there for hours at a time, just not normally very late or right over next to Doheny/West Hollywood.

UGH! I'll be here in Knoxville preparing for exams! I wish I could be there! I'll be on chat though and hosting the viewing party on ABC.com. I can't wait!

Hiii Admin, I'm very excited to see you all. I already tweeted you to double check and make sure that if it's LeMontRose Hotel for sure? If it is, at what time do you want us there and under what name? [Image Can Not Be Found] Let me if there is anything I can do to help out [Image Can Not Be Found]TTYS then.

I ran out of time before I left home and haven't had much interenet access since I arrived in the US so it's been a bit crazy trying to organise something.

Tasmic – was your friend going to email me?

Well, I hope something comes together. Like I said, I'm broke, but can always get there around 8pm (barring an unexpected delivery) or so to help with set-up if any help is needed.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been a bit crazy!  Still considering the Le Montrose but I'm staying in Burbank Sat/Sun night and have a room booked that's a suite, there's no floorplan or specific photos so I'm not sure if it may actually be large enough for our get-together. If it is I'll move it there 'cause it'll be much easier for me to stay in the one place rather than move around just for one night (and it's cheaper!)

I'll be checking in probably in the afternoon and will try to update as soon as I can.  I'll give you the location if it's going to go ahead otherwise it'll be the Le Montrose.

Can we have another check in of who's planning to be there so I have an idea of numbers & space we'll need?

Burbank is generally a good place. Barring something unexpected, I'm in and can bring those three short stools if needed.

Wish I could watch this episode with other people who love the show. Other folks in my life just think me to be crazy. ~And~ for the first time in my life, I'm actually gonna be in California – just that one night when it airs (and following day) too! What a coinkidink, no? :P Alas, I shall be two-and-a-half hours south of L.A. Have fun!

Ok – we can seat at least 8 people in the hotel I'm in so I think we'll stick with this, unless anyone has any objections, which I'm doubting because there haven't been many responses.

The hotel is the Residence Inn Burbank Downtown 321 S. First Street

Burbank,

California

91502

USA. My cell is (818) 726 1031 and you can call me on Monday for the room number.  Please let me know in advance if you plan to be here so I have an idea how many we'll have.

As for time, people are welcome to come and hang out earlier if they like, I don't have any plans for late afternoon onwards.

Since you are all in Burbank for this viewing party, and since Patton Oswalt is part of the Thrilling Adventure Hour that will feature Nathan, I wanted to share this video of Patton Oswalt and his view of living in Hollywood and then Burbank:

(I tried to embed it, but the embed thingy wasn't cooperating. Just watch it. He's hilarious)

I  go to Burbank all the time for the horse shows at LA Equestrian… anyhow, there are some great restaurants there on the main street the two blocks before the little mall.  The Thai restaurant with the uber-huge glass Budha is EXCELLENT.

Good news, if the room is too small we can use the breakfast/social room
