Nathan Fillion will be signing copies of Richard Castle’s Heat Rises at Barnes & Noble at The Grove on October 24 at 7pm.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase in advance and we recommend you arrive early.

Hope this doesn't double-post — tried before but page stalled.  Anyone from the LA area planning to go?  I'm going to really try to be there and thought it might be nice to say "hi" to fellow "Castletv.net" people.

unfortunately the signing has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict, they're going to try and reschedule, maybe in November.

Admin:  Does this mean that the Barnes & Noble event is off, but the Golden Apple (do I have it right?) event is on?  Just read about it — on Melrose, I believe.  Golden Apple doesn't sound right – we have entertainment industry awards with that name.  That's what I get for reading too quickly.  Point is:  is the other event at the comics place on, as far as you know?  Thanks so much.

Barns and noble ws cancelled due to a conflict (Assume it's because of this event) Golden Apple Comics and Nathan will be signing Deadly Storm, not Heat Rises. There's a link to the info on the home page of this site

So did anyone from the L.A. area go to the signing?  I almost did, but ended up not being able to.  Just curious how it went — heard it was terrific and lots of people? Happy for a good turnout -

It was pretty awesome! I got there two hours early to get a decent spot in line, and just hung out with other Castle fans which is always fun. The comic store had tons of Castle stuff to purchase, and I couldn't help myself and ended up buying way more than I should have… Then when Nathan got there he went outside to say hi to the fans and everyone went crazy. 

This was my 4th time meeting him, and I still can't form a coherent sentence when I'm talking to him. Unfortunately I don't even remember what I said when I went up to him. I think I must mentioned that I saw them filming at the cafe in downtown LA, and said it was great that he takes time to do stuff like this for his fans. There wasn't much time since there were so many people to get to. I had him sign my copy of Heat Wave rather than the graphic novel.

Exiled–I have to ask: was there a really intense looking, fairly older woman with heavy make up, dyed blonde hair and wearing clothes that were waayyyy to young for her? I mean, inappropriately young for her?

I've noticed her at several TAHs and at Meltdown when they did the Halo thingy.  She's a little creeepy.
