Yeah, do not count on the LA Metro system at all, hardly any coverage.

At this point I have 2 maybe 3 extra tickets. One friend doesn't know yet if she can go.

Nah, the LA Metro system is FABULOUS!  It's the traffic that's hell.  But the buses seldom use the freeways.

Yeah, sold out in less than an hour!

Well shucks. :( D'you think they'll release last minute tickets? Box office maybe? I really want to go. :(

Hey guys,

 

I just called the ticket office and they said that the event is filled to capacity and they do not have any tickets on hold for release closer to the event. Cry  I'm so bummed.

 

I guess I will just have to live vicariously through the ones going from the board. Hope you guys have a great time and get lots of pictures.

I'm working on the accommodation thing – waiting to hear back from a couple of my friends in LA but if I get stuck I'll be back to check with those of you that are locals LOL

Okay, so I will be at Mt. St. Mary's College on the 16th and looking for a ride to the Paley Center. The college is west of West Hollywood and just off the San Diego Freeway. The Paley Center is about a 20 minute drive from there. Let me know if anyone would be available to pick me up. I am willing to pay for gas and buy you a drink or coffee before or after the event.

How much do i hate you, let me count the way's. Innocent

 

I am still trying to sort out the july date with a mate in Amarillo texas.  Angry

 

Hoping to stay in the states for 8 weeks or so, but mate is a working stiff and it may just not be practicale for him.

 

With the economic crunch airfares have been hit hard, though there are still some good deals out there, especially the short term stays, last i looked about $1800+, and being on an invalid pension and zero income to suplement the pension makes it close to immpossible.

 

Hope we all get to see the event vicariously through Castle fans

Congrats to everyone who is going. I knew it would sell out quick but that was really fast. Go Castle fans.

Do we know how many the room sits? I think there's at least two rooms. When Prison Break was there the first time it was in the big auditorium that sat 200+ if I remember correctly. The second time they were in the smaller room that only sat about 100. Just curious is all.

I'm so excited for those who are going. Now we know we'll be getting lots of reports and pictures.

I'm guessing that's how it will work.  Actual "Paleyfest" events are held at the Arclight Dome on Sunset Blvd, that's the room that holds 200+ people.  This event is at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills, it's definitely a smaller more intimate theater, I saw a Pushing Daisies event there 2 yrs ago, and I believe that place also had a separate screening room which is probably the secondary location.

 

The Pushing Daisies event was part of an ABC night sponsored by TV Guide, so there were three shows being screened that night and the celebs came in on a very small red carpet in the lobby of this building which looks like a museum, so it will be interesting to see if that's how they do it again.
