PaleyFest 2012 runs over 13 days from March 2-14 and each evening at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills there'll be a panel with special guests from various shows. This is the first year that Castle will be a part of PaleyFest though in 2010 the Paley Center for Media hosted "An Evening with Castle" as an individual event.
Appropriately the Castle panel will be on March 9th which will be Castle's 3 year anniversary!

I am very interested, though still checking on details, so I am going to attempt to call them today. If I go I'd have to fly in from Michigan and only for a couple of days. Was just there in Nov for Castle Con and am by no means a wealthy person. Sadly, my OCD is out of control. Maybe we need CA (Castle Annonymous). Anyway, the draw is strong.
I was considering the package for $750. I had a friend who wanted to go with but can't, so I am wondering if there is anyone out there whol would be interested in sharing the cost. The package is for 2 premiums seats to 4 shows – not sure if it is limited to certain shows-that's one of my questions. Plus one after party with guests, whom are to be announced later. Plus a few other small perks.
That would only be $375 which really isn't bad. Would probably fly in on the 8th and leave on the 12th, so limited on which shows I could attend, but the other person could go to whatever they wanted during the rest of the time.
Wish I could go to the whole thing, but with work I'm very, very limited. Oh yeah, and my kids, lol

The 4 shows for the premium pass are set you have to choose which group of shows you want the pass for.
I really really wish I could afford to fly out for this but I'm still paying back money I had to borrow to pay for my flights & accommodation to run the LA event.

The package with Castle includes American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time, and The Vampire Diaries. The only one of the events that's close to the Castle one is The Vampire Diaries…good luck to everyone who is trying to get a ticket!

I purchased mine this morning for myself, my 10 year old daughter, and my two Castle friends. Should we pick a hotel close to the theater, and should we rent a car? We will be in LA from Thursday until Sunday. Hoping for some site seeing time, and maybe, if we are lucky, a chance to see Castle filming somewhere.
Would anyone like to meet up at some point?

Have you been to LA before? I am from Michigan and was there in Nov for Castle Con and I would never rent a car and try to get around in the that mess. However, there was another person that I met there that did and did great. I just hate driving when I don't know where I'm going and it is hard to get in around in LA in my opinion. On the other hand, the public transportation system stinks and it's hard to get anywhere that way.
I am getting a hotel near the Saban theater and near the bus route so I can hit Hollywood. Lots to do there.
It was fun meeting other Castle fans in Novemeber, if you want to meet up that would be fun. Last time the group I was with got a tweet, right before I got there (arggg) that they were filming and they drove up and got to see them filming the wedding episode and met Jon, Seamus, Tamala and Stana. I don't think they usually film on weekends though. Keep checking this thread and others as we get closer to the time.
Now you made me feel guilty for not bringing my kids, lol. They love Castle. But I bought Festival pass which are crazy expensive so I couldn't afford to bring them too.

I drive in LA all the time (1 1/2 hours away) and it's really not that bad. Just make sure you know where you are going and rent a car. I would attend this event, especially if I knew who was going to be on the panel. It sounds like fun.
