Richard Castle Heat Wave Signing – Barns & Noble

That's great! It would be awesome to see Nathan in character as Rick Castle… I wonder if it'll be working into the season.

Okay, I currently live at the farthest northern point of California for college, but I am going to start saving up now to drive down there. I'm a little bit in love with LA despite all of its problems, and this would be a perfect excuse to go! *squee* How cool. Can you imagine how crowded that signing is going to be?

I plan on heading to the grove right after work (I teach school, so I can be on my way by 2:30).  I'm gonna be tongue tied I just know it.

My friend lives nearby but she isn't a Castle or Nathan Fillion fan at all. Must devise a way to convert her somehow so she could get stuff signed for me!

I was hoping he'll do a few of signings all over the country, like what real authors do. One in LA, one in New York, perhaps another in Chicago…

Me too! I'm trapped on the East Coast and can't fly to LA just for a book signing

I highly doubt he would do any touring for a book signing. They're still busy filming. What a bummer though I would have loved to go.

A New York signing definitely makes sense, I wouldn't be surprised to see them announce one. It would be cool of them to incorporate that into the show, too.

It would be cool if they incorporate multiple signings into the show and use that as a way to show how much Beckett misses Castle when he's gone on tour. Plus they could film some random signings (real ones that is).

You know it! How I convince him to go to this stuff is the G9 camera he has that he loves using, so events like this give him the opportunity. I’ll have a wee slide show hopefully to post at the blog after!

Transporters would be nice about now. But then again if we had those, hundreds of people would be there.

Ok, I'm a little behind or confused about this.  Can someone explain, since I guess I don't get it — so Nathan Fillion the actor is going to do a book signing and there's a real book like the one his character is working on in the series?  Who really wrote the book?  I think this is great – I'm just confused!  Great promo for the show.  Trying to justify going there – it's about 15 minutes from my home, at the most – but I don't get it!  Forgive me – never heard about this.  Never heard of a tv character "writing" a book.
