I just ran a Google Maps of the address and Northridge is between the 118 & 101 freeways near Simi Valley/Calabasas… Is that familiar to you? The only thing I know about Northridge is the quake back in '97 was pretty bad.

Lol at least you guys get the choice. FL to CA during my college classes is pretty much impossible. :( Cause I could get there and miss a few classes but I have no where to stay or transportation. Boo.

I didn't even pay attention to the date…the 29th might be a bit difficult for me since it's so soon AND in the middle of the week. I can't miss classes either  . The one in October is more doable because it's a Monday and I only have one class, but I'd end up missing Tuesday anyway. Argh! Do I HAVE to make the responsible decision??

Lol at least you get to make the decision to go. :) If it was on maybe Christmas break or something I could have had the decision to hop on a plane and be there. But in the middle of the week with school I can't.

So, has anyone made any decisions either way? I would love to see photos. And imagine if "Nikki Heat" herself showed up. By that I mean, would there be any reason that Beckett would be in LA? Probably not, but it would be aweosme.

I'm thinking about going, however, traffic from my office to Northridge will be painful! But if not Northridge, then the Grove signing the following week. I'll be sure to bring my brand new camera if I do go.

I've heard that there were people at the book store lined up this morning to get their books (about 25 people before the doors opened) which is great news as far as sales goes.
There are guidelines as follows:
- You must buy your book first (any time today), you will be given a wristband.
- You will be required to have your wristband to get your book signed.
- Return to the store at 6:30pm. The signing starts at 8pm.
- Nathan will personalize with your first name.
- No posed photo opportunities will be available but you may take photos from the line.
- Only the book is being signed, you can't get other items signed.

Aw, I would love to go, but I'm in northern California… at least 6 hours away…
But yeah, anyone who is lucky enough to go (let alone score a signed copy!) should def take pictures :)

I'm not sure but in store book signings often work that way, sometimes if you buy a copy of the book you can get that signed plus one other item, but I noticed for today's personal items are not allowed, if you had another copy of the book you might get away with getting both signed though… not sure

Yeah, it is :)
I heard that too. I seem to remember him saying in an interview that if he signed Richard Castle it would be messy since he's never signed that before. Understandable, since he's been signing Nathan Fillion all his life ;)

Hi there,
Ok, so the stars aligned and at the last minute I checked traffic, it wasn't too bad and I headed up to Northridge for the signing. I get there and since I hadn't anticipated going, I didn't have a real camera or the book I'd already bought on Amazon. Oh well, so I bought another book. I was one of the last people in line. He was very nice but I still got nervous and just mumbled "I love your show". I also said "hey you're almost done" and he laughed. I hope I remembered to say thanks….There were maybe 100-200 people there, I'm not sure since I got there late, it was very well organized as far as get you in, get you out! They thought they ran out of books at one point and were telling people that, but then later they dug out a whole stack of them. I think they would have sold more because I saw some people leave after being told they were out of books.
Anyway, I just had my cell phone camera which isn't very good, so here are a couple of shots I took while standing in line. Damn cell phone camera! He's quite handsome in person, should have asked for the BSTL!
