Would I be allowed to take it when I have no computing background whatsoever? I wanted to take a computing course because I know next to nothing about that particular area, but my schedule's already filled and I'm a scaredy cat haha.

The point of the course is to group together people of different disciplines. No programming experience needed. :) Computing courses can be fun, although I'd have a hard time recommending 101 as it's kind of boring. If you're interested in learning to program though, 114 (java) or 174 (pearl) aren't bad.

Of course 114 is only offered during a time when I already have class. 174 would be an option, but for both choices either the lab or the class runs in a block where I already have a class that is a requirement :(

Based on my prior experience with 174 (I taâ€™d it back in Fall 2007) and from what I know theyâ€™ve done since (a friend has taâ€™d both it and 175 every semester since) the labs are always optional and you can go to any of the time slots. At least one semester they actually combined the 174 and 175 labs and you were able to go to either set for either class.

ETA: The semester I ta'd, they'd also left one lab time tba'd so that they could figure out a time that actually worked for the students who couldn't access the other lab times.

So that's what the TBA meant. I discounted that one because I like to know these things beforehand. Something to consider, just when I had my schedule 'all figured out'.

LOL. Beckett? Missing Castle? Good luck getting her to admit it! Oh, sure, Ryan and Esposito would have a ball needling her about it and that would be funny to see. But I suspect Beckett would enjoy the peace and quiet with him gone. No more babysitting, no more looking over her shoulder to make sure he isn't doing something that would land her in hot water with the Chief or IAD. No more wisecracking in the car as they go to crimescenes. At least, not while he's gone. And Laney would just look at her and say,”Mm-hm. You're not foolin' anybody. You miss having him around.”

And when Castle arrives at JFK from the LA signing, Beckett will be there at the gate and Castle can get all cute and say she didn't have to pick him up but if she missed him that much he's flattered–

And Beckett shuts him up by saying she needs his help on a case. Because there is one. There's always a case.

Of course, that's if she even still likes him. After all, he stuck his nose in her mother's file and she swore if he did that, they were through. Should make the premiere of Season Two a mite interesting, ne c'est pas?

It's no surprise truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction has to make sense.

If they do a signing in Charlotte NC or Washington DC, I might be able to swing it. That would be cool!

I went and it was amazing! I got autographs from Nathan of course, but also Seamus Dever, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Andrew Marlowe and Rob Bowman (who I geek worship for X-files). Nathan is the nicest, most polite guy to his fans, I am truly impressed. And he is really more handsome in person than on screen, if that is possible. I asked Ruben Santiago Hudson if Stana was coming and he said she wasn't feeling well earlier so he didn't think she'd make it. Jon Huertas must have arrived later after I left. Wow. I'll post some pics later!
