Opening registration for attendees next Saturday February 5th. Finally 
Anybody plan on going? I am, just don't know whether to take a four day ticket or just for the weekend. Haven't been there before so I'm in a bit of a quandary. Any thoughts? If 'Castle' plans on being represented it'll be sometime in the weekend cause I figure they'll have begun shooting their 4th season.
If someone else is interested in going, I'll be driving in from LA either on Wednesday July 20th or Friday July 22th depending on what ticket I'll be buying. And perhaps share a room at a hotel????? I am open to suggestions.

If I'm able to get over there for Comic Con this year I may need a ride from LA to SD – way too early for me to start thinking about that kind of stuff though. There's already a thread in the off topic section somewhere – I put it in off topic because we don't know if Castle will be there yet.

I usually know a year in advance where I want to spend my next holidays and accordingly start planning for it 
. So, not being able to get a ticket for the San Diego Con in November had me antsy 
. Any advice on whether to go for the full 4 days or just the weekend? I haven't a clue.

I guess you could ask yourself if it's worth saving $70 (or whatever the diff) at the risk of Castle being on a diff day than you expect.. it'll be harder to decide when it comes to booking accommodation however

I'll be there – somehow got a 4 day pass during the 3 minute trial last time tickets went on sale. I haven't figured out logistics at all though…

Thanks admin. That wasn't something I'd considered as I was assuming that they'll be shooting. Okay, I'll go for the four day ticket. I'm going to make hotel reservations as well from Wednesday 20th till Monday 25th unless someone needs to be back in LA on Sunday evening. I figure the sooner the more choice I'll be having.
DJ, it'll be nice to get together. Are you flying to San Diego or driving?

I'm flying – I live on the East Coast. I haven't figured out when yet or where I'm staying. I know that getting a hotel room is yet another nightmare.

Can you believe it. I've managed to get – and listen to this – 1 ticket for Sunday and that's all. UNBELIEVABLE. In the end I'm glad I got a connection that didn't fail me half way through. I've been trying for god knows how long.
Now I'm heavily crossing my fingers and toes and whatnot that if Castle decides to make an appearance it'll be on Sunday because otherwise I'd probably cry my eyes out

After three hours of hitting refresh nonstop on that stupid site, I managed to get my tickets. Had to buy all 4 days separately cause the 4-day pass was the first to get sold out.
I don't care, though. I'm going to Comic Con!

I was only able to get Sunday's as well. Wasn't Castle on Sunday for 2010 Comic Con? If they are there this year, I hope it is Sunday as well.

For those that missed out – more tickets will be available later in the year when people cancel and get refunds so all is not lost…
Remember too that there are no guarantees that Castle will even be there this year.
Also.. you should be aware that when hotel bookings are released the same kind of thing is going to happen so you need to be prepared for that stress.
