Your episode, The Mistress Always Spanks Twice, was hilarious, and had some of the best interactions between Castle and Beckett. "So much, Castle, so very, very much." "My boyfriend has been a very bad boy. His name is Ricky." "Well, ANSWER HER!"
Are you writing another episode in season 3? If yes, and I hope it's yes, then which episode number is it and what is it about?
Have you started on season 2 of "You can't do that on the internet"? What's the plan, due next spring/summer???
We've heard that in season 3 we'll see more of Beckett's wild side, e.g. the motor bike. In your Castle episode, there are pretty strong indications that Beckett indeed has more wild sides to her that we (and Castle) have seen so far – how much of that was dictated from the overall story arc, and how much were you allowed to give your personal spin on things?

OfflineIf it is allowed to tell, the 3XK storyline will be a series of consequent episodes or this über-killer will strike time to time during the season?
Andrew Marlowe told somewhere that he would plan only one holiday episode per season. Last year it was Halloween, could you tell us which holiday will we get this year (if we will get any)?

OfflineIf you had writer's block like Castle did pre-Season 1, what would you do or who would you go to for inspiration?
The murder scenario from your episode last year was rated number 6 for "Top 10 Grossest TV Murders" in the New York Magazine. If you're writing another episode this season, do you have any ideas or anything planned to take that to number 1?

OfflineWhat is the nature of your day-to-day work on Castle as writer's assistant? What is a typical work day like for you?
What are your favorite Castle episodes (aside from your brilliant "Mistress" of course) and why?
It must have been so exciting to see your script come to life on Castle. Did anything surprise you about the process? Were there any ad libs or scenes that turned out better or different than you imagined?

OfflineThank you very much for 'The mistress always spanks twice', it's one of my favourite episodes.
I'm assuming writing 'Castle' comes with a template. If you were given free reign, what would you like to incorporate into the Castle dynamic? Or give it a more in depht exploration if it's already there.

OfflineAs others have said, "Mistress" is one of my favorite episodes, but it also happens to be the episode that got me hooked on Castle.
As a writer for a TV series, how does one achieve a balance in terms of satisfying faithful "old fans", but still drawing in new viewers week after week (and at the time staying true to the characters)?
Also, which do you find more challenging to write: 1) the mystery/murder solving parts or 2) the character development aspects of an episode?
Thanks!

Connecting to this question: Is there an agenda of the epsiodes in advance, like "this and this episode should concentrate on the case, the next one is more about the character development", or is it depends on the assigned writer how much does he/she mix from the two into the script?
