This isn't really a feature request but, I've noticed that you don't have Jim Beckett on the list of people to choose from, yet you have Perlmutter… I think it would be helpful if you could add that and add "Family" to the list of genres? Other than that, awesome site!

:( I'm not getting email alerts for reviews anymore… I checked to make sure they weren't going to my spam/junk folder and I checked on my profile settings on the fanfic sites to make sure I didn't accidentally turn it off but its on and I'm still not getting email updates. Until about a couple weeks ago I was getting them just fine.

I can't add stories/authors to favorites. Could be a Google Chrome browser problem though. I don't have trouble with anything else so far though. Thanks Admin for doing all this for us!

Unfortunately I won't be able to look into these issues until I'm back home and that won't be for a couple of weeks. As far as email notifications, have you tried using a different email address to see if that works?

i'm using IE8 and this has been a persistent problem for me as well for awhile now… but i hadn't spoken up because i thought it was just me

Hi, I'm attempting to post my first story here, but am unable to make the category section or character section work. Nothing shows up in the blank box next to the arrow. Wondering if I am just too clueless or is there some trick to it?

Thanks Admin,
I did try using the arrow on the category selection and nothing happened until I selected the 'General' category first. I was trying to select 'romance' first and that didn't work. But I did finally get that part.
On the characters, thanks, I didn't know about the control key. That makes sense now. Unfortunately, I already posted my story and am stuck with Martha Castle being listed as the main/only character, even though she will barely be in it. Oh, well. I think my summary explains the idea well enough.

Starting today, I am not getting the site to display properly in FireFox: Here's what I am seeing (on 2 PCs)
Looks OK in MS Internet Explorer
Never mind – I found it. When starting for the 1st time, Firefox displays a blank theme, rather than a default like Explorer does.

Hold down your CTRL key and press the F5 key, that will force a proper refresh of the page and will probably fix it – I created a new design today to match it with the rest of the site.

Just a small suggestion, since I've noticed people posting stories on this forum without realizing the policies. A change of forum title to something like Fan Fiction Discussions would avoid the appearance of "post your fan fic here!"
