OK No its not very funny or original but it made you look 
I've noticed on some of the fanfiction sites that stories, even ones that aren't too long, are posted in chapters.
Do you like having to wait for updates or would you rather read the whole story in one go?

Absolutely the whole story all at once. I am a VERY impatient person and it makes me VERY cranky to start a story and not EVER have it updated! 
I get VERY excited when I see a story that has a bunch of chapters and I have something Castle related to read for the evening!!!!! I'm sick I know…..I'll see you all at the insane asylum!

I think it should be writers preference. But please, please, please, finish what you start. I don't know how many times I've gotten invested in a good story only to be left hanging forever.

Well, I just started my first fan fiction over the the sister site. It's easier for me to write one chapter at a time. The first is posted, but I'm working on chapter 3 now. Chapter 2 hasn't been posted because I'm still tweeking it. But, again, I'm new to this.
You should kiss that girl while you are both young.

The whole story. I like to take in the whole story at once and enjoy it. That being said I do enjoy many of the stories with multiple chapters as long as I don't have to go too long between chapters where I start to forget what is going on with it.

I'll be posting it on adultfanfiction.net for sure but not on our site and I'm not too sure about fanfiction, its very ummm…adult 
I really have to try to write a PG13 fic so I can put it on our site.

Agreed!! I hate getting engrossed in a terrific story and it just ends and not where it should!! I don't start posting a story until its completely finished which is why it takes me so damn long LOL but have noticed the stories posted in chapters get lots more reviews and I'm a feedback junkie.
