One additional YAHOO for the 3rd season renewal is that all of us Castletv.net addicts can continue to chat at each other for another year.  While most of us don't "KNOW" each other, sometimes it seems that we do with all the fun chats and commentary that are produced in the forums. Sooooo, congrats to Castle for being renewed and TO US the fans for another year of fun chats on a wonderful fan site.  YEAH ADMIN!!!!

And either way, it gets closer to the 80 episode bare minimum for syndication, (80 episodes would occur after the 4th season), and syndication is what ABC really, really wants out of this show, aside from good ratings now.

(though they prefer to have 100 episodes to sell into syndication, I've seen shows sold that have 80 episodes)

Thanks, Kalliope!  I knew I had to make that from the moment I saw the new promo.  Indiana Jones is on the very short list of fictional characters I love as much as Castle. Love2 Monday's episode is going to be too fun for words!

 

(It's also going to be a complete mishmash of pseudoarchaeological nonsense, but hey, I can live with that!  I just might not use the episode in my course lectures.) Crazy

I like that way you all think. With 34 episodes after two seasons:

If ABC orders an extra two episodes next season or the following one, they will have 80 episodes in the can after season 4.

OR three more seasons (at 22  per), they will have 100 episodes for syndication!!!!

I'm working here until a good fast food job opens up!

Oh I'm still on a high from the news and it's what..5 days later. Anytime I have to deal with something annoying, I just think of Castle and I smile again. lol  

One of my co-workers found me in the breakroom the other week..I think right before "Tick, Tick, Tick" aired – and I was sitting there smiling. She asked why..I flipped the magazine around that I was holding..the cool poster promo was in it and an article about the 2 parter..(I'm sure I was grinning like an idiot)

oooo…awesome new avatar Maclane!

I am still elated about the renewal too!  Bothered my mom on Easter with too much Castle talk, I'm sure.  But I just got a new ipod and have lots of "Castle" tracks on there…either from the episodes, promos, or utube videos people have made, and I was getting lots of compliments on the selections…even the music is awesome!

OK…OCD symptom…but I just noticed today that Season 3 and Ep 1 are listed as titles on the board already under the Episode Guide.  That just made me excited all over again!  Crazy2
