Their is another poll going on at cliqueclack.com where you have to choose your favorite female crime fighting character on television. Their are four finalists with Kate Beckett being one of them.

I like this part:

A couple weeks ago we asked you to pick your favorite female crime fighter. The response was overwhelmingly in favor of Kate Beckett from Castle, with 63% of the vote.

She's moving up. She's at 45% compared to the 47% for Olivia Dunham.

Is the poll done with Beckett winning at 49%?  There didn't seem to be a way for me to vote when I clicked the link…it just showed the percentages.

You're right…even my above link that had the vote just a while ago now only has percentages…Beckett now at 55%.  Admin's twitter link that had the vote now only shows percentages too.  I wonder if it's a glitch or the poll is over?

I just voted. It is now 56% Beckett. 37% Dunham. Keep voting. Castle, and in particular Stana Katic, needs the recognition. This is the most under rated show. It should be in the top 5 shows every week. The talent on the show is amazing, and the writing is so engaging. With added chemistry that melts the ice in your colddrink, what more could anyone ask for? GO BECKETT!!

The link works for me. Sorry to hear some are having trouble. Of course I don't vote since I've already done so but I like checking the results.

Beckett is winning at 59% right now. Olivia is the closest competition at 35%.

Totally agree that "Castle" is the most underrated show. The situation probably would be completely different if it arrived to ABC in the fall schedule and not as a "mid-season replacement" late winter, these shows always suffer no matter how good they are.
