I had waited and waited to see the show in Australia, but missed the first two episodes due to moving house and work. ARRGH! Soooo instead of trying to work out what had happened and miss the whole start…. and Nathan of course……. OMG I'll follow that man through any genre. I have waited to buy the box set and will watch everything.
So what I am asking of the rest of you….. without spoilers or reasons why……. is name your favourite episodes…. and reassure me that the wait is not only worth it, but that I made the write choice and the first two episodes were crucial to the plot.

YEH!!!! Another Aussie, welcome
You will LOVE Castle (and Nathan too of course), its a brilliantly funny show. Well scripted and cast. Hmmmm my favourite episode would have to be "Always buy retail" mainl becaue of Castle's sex scene with his ex wife LOL

Castle is a brilliant show. Amazing lines and just overall great humor and cast. The writers are brilliant. If you love witty banter then Castle has it. I would definately say watch it just to see what you think.
I really enjoyed the episode "Where the heart stops." that and what was the name of the kidnapping one…
It's on the tip of my tongue…I'll figure it out

I'd have to say that the Pilot is absolutely necessary because like all good pilots, it sets up the premise of the series. It's not the best episode; actually I'd say it was the weakest of the first season (IMO). The second, I believe is Nanny McDead it's a good follow up because it starts to shift the balance between the two main characters. The pilot focused mainly on Castle's quirky personality. As the series progressed the relationship became more equal in tone.
My favorite episode is A Chill Runs Through Her Veins. A very well constructed episode with nice resonance.

great news… my DVDs shipped.. you never know I just might get to watch it all in my school vacation…. ahhh the life of a teacher…. it is harsh…. but come on….. we have a few perks!
So excited thanks for the responses guys/gals and I will look out for those episodes and possibly formulate which is my fave also.

I ordered my copy through Amazon CA because I had store credit there and last time stuff shipped from there really fast, yesterday I gave in and ordered it from the US store as well, so now Ill get two copies! But got notice this morning that the US one shipped, chose expidited shipping so hopefully will have it by this time next week.
