To say I am a junkie is an understatement. The problem is we haven't had series 4 yet, so this forum keeps me going.

I love the different points of view. I am afraid the dragon has been woken in my household. Can't get enough of the creative input from the fellow OCD'ers on the site. Keep SHIPPING!!!

Without disparaging anyone else, I never saw my junkie-ness coming with this show.  I am 42 year old married man with 2.5 kids (one due in February) and I had to have open heart surgery in September 2010 and, during recovery, I started watching this show.  Now, I can't stop.  I literally can't stop.  At night, I will plug my IPad in and let a show drift me off to sleep.  For example, last night it was 02x12 (???), the one with Alyssa Milano.  I hadn't heard of Nathan Fillion or Stana Katic before and my previous Mondays were reserved for 24 only so, when I found Castle, the first episode I ever saw was 02x01.  None of the first season.  I think I was taken by the comedy and then the slam bang ending when she calls him selfish, tells him to leave, and then he apologizes.

TG I'm not the only one! I have all 4 seasons on my iPad and watch them in bed! I'm up to "Shoot the Messenger"! (probably on the 4th time rewatch 'in order'!) New episodes I watch 3-4 times in the following week – on TV, laptop, iPad. I think I'm up to 5 on Cuffed!

I had never heard of Nathan or Stana, had never seen or heard of Firefly (now have the DVD and Serenity!) but I have watched since the beginning (missed a few episodes due to general slackness of channel 7 Australia) but developed OCD after Knockdown. Found this site and the rest is history!

Oh, and I'm on 'older' retired schoolteacher! Crazy

I did see that, but I think you might have me confused with Oznute, who's from Australia.  I live in Texas and the horses we ride would probably drown on my way there.

It`s nice to know that I`m not seriously ill or something like that Smile.

I`m 41 years old and NEVER got hooked on something like I was hooked by Castle.

From the first moment on I loved Castle with the first episode. I was a regular watcher but nothing prepared me of what I would become some months later,… I can tell ya.

On a road trip to Montana and Yellowstone park in June I was able to catch some "older" episodes from season 3 which were repeated and hadn`t aired in Germany yet. And I was immediately THRILLED. My first episode there was Lucky Stiff and as watching it I nearly had a heart attack. In Germany they stopped broadcasting for summer at Poof and I hadn´t seen Knockdown yet. But anyway, … returning back from my trip I got a new notebook and a new contract for quicker online connection and BANG… as I found this site…. and catching up with all the other episodes of season 3 up until the ultimate cliffhanger Knockout… I was like a bad bad junkie… but with all the positive side effects Smile. Mostly I smile like I`d smoked something funny.

I cannot concentrate on work because I think of Castle, I cannot do my house cleaning without thinking of Castle, I cannot sleep without my daily Castle, I dream of Castle…. short: my whole world is just circling around Castle. It`s really weird but I like it that way. I cannot stop talking about Castle,… my friends already make eye-rolling-faces when I start talking about the latest episode.

And I stopped watching (or zapping) TV. TV? What`s TV? Don`t know anymore. Don`t care anymore. I just watch my Castle DVD`s on my notebook. I barely make it to the 8 pm news because I´m not interested what`s happening around me because I am so focused with that tunnel view. If I hadn`t found this Castle-Fan-site I would have gone crazy and had me immediately assigned in a mental recovery facility Smile. And I lend season 2 to a friend… bad choice. I miss it. So I watch the latest episode again and again (I think, Cuffed is about to be watched the 7th time or so,… I don`t know exactly… I don`t dare to count). And if I don`t go out on weekends I start watching season 1 again and continue with season 3.

Actually I`m happy to have this site where all the members have OCD. So I start feeling like home on here. Thanks to all of you.

1-and-done don't feel lonely. At 40+ I thought I was avoiding life's addictions quite nicely. Then along came this phenomenon called Castle. I cannot finish a sentence without a Castle reference or some connection between characters or guest stars or story lines etc. My family and friends also do the eye roll thing and can't believe how animated I can get over a TV show. What can I say? I'm hooked. I don't want rehab. The only cure is more episodes.

Thanks so much, 1-and-done and wish4always! I feel so much better now!!! Wave

I liked Castle from the first episode as well, but got totally hooked on the show troughout season 3 (when I started watching it in the original version). Now I need my daily dose of Castle. Crazy I was never hooked on a show like that before…

Being 34, I felt really strange about it- and then I found this website. Laugh I´m really happy, that there are other people like me out there! My friends mostly give me this annoyed look, when I start talking about Castle. But I`ll get them, one after another…ROFL (I already convinced 2 friends, who now love the show… Tongue.)

There is no curse!

You have found something you really like and enjoy. On this site you're in very good company and you can share your thoughts about pretty much everything that goes on in the Castle universe. There is nothing wrong with that as long you don't get lost in there.[Image Can Not Be Found]

I'm totally a Castle junkie but I'm even worse about Firefly which I just discovered last year!
