I tried to vote but don't know if it counted cause at the end it asks you if you want to give them access or deny to your information on twitter and I didn't give them access to mine cause I'm a private person when it comes to stuff like that

Voted, but there is something wrong going on between my Twitter account and #shortyawards' page, 'cause my votes appear on Twitter, but not on their website. Also my Twitter account is not in sync with my profile at their website. Could it be because I've changed my Twitter name some time ago, and #shortyawards perhaps "remembers" the previous one which I originally registered for Twitter and voted with for #shortyawards a year ago?

Well I voted and it neither shows up on my twitter page or shorty awards page so not really sure if they counted cause I clicked deny access but Stana and Nathan definitely deserve as many shorty awards possible cause castle is the greatest show and wouldn't be the show it is without them in it

Denying access cancels your votes and they don't count at all.

YOu can just tweet without having to go through their page but it has to be in the right format
eg I nominate @twittername for a Shorty Award in #category because reason
If your account is set to private/locked your nomination won't be counted
