OfflineSometimes I've thought: Why do they have three spoilers about Glee, and only one about Castle?
Today I though: I've never asked about a spoiler for Castle, how are the reviewers supposed to know I want to know?
So I sent my first question(s) by email to mega_scoop@tvguide.com for the Mega Buzz in TV Guide.
More places to stir up interest:
email: askausiello@tvline.com, twitter: @MichaelAusiello
On E!Online one can post questions to Kristin Dos Santos for her spoiler chat http://www.eonline.com/uberblo…..th_kristin (may have to change country at the bottom of the page to get the page up correct) or questions can be asked on twitter @KristinDSantos
More places anyone?

OfflineGreat idea!
I really think it is up to us to promote the show anyway we can, and sometimes I wish I could do more, I just don't have many ideas.
After the E! pool, all the comments and everything I realized that some people really get interested if they see a show with a loyal and dedicated fan base (actually, I started watching Chuck this season just 'cause I found out about their great fan base and how they saved the show from cancellation), and new viewers are always more than welcome!
I did my share and sent a question to all three sites! I'll think about new questions and try to send them at least in a weekly basis!
C'mon people! Let's get Castle the attention it deserves! =)

OfflineGreat idea unniw. Anything the fans can to to entice new viewers to the show is a good thing. I'm not the most creative person with ideas to spread the word, but I am willing to do anything to help. Hopefully others have additional great ideas like this one.

Just want to add "positive" to that… Seeing all that hate and nastiness from so many SN fans on both the poll and twitter made me not want to ever watch the show again (only seen a couple of eps). On the other side of things, we've had someone drop by our chat room a number of times during the poll and again today to "check us out" after seeing what we were saying on the poll page. He said today that he just watched all of season 1 and LOVES it and can't wait to get into season 2. Positivity really does have an impact!

That is great!! I think that is one of the best things about our group here; we know how to respect each other. We may not always agree with each other, but we do treat each other well.

Great story Admin. I do my best to talk about the show to people in my daily life and lend out the DVDs to get people interested. None of them have been Nielsen families (who will impact the ratings), but perhaps they end up spreading the word to someone who is (or they will watch on DVR or online, which is taken into account). I just think that the bigger fan support avenues (like polls and comments on websites and questions in spoiler articles and the like) are the biggest potential for drawing new fans like the one you mention above. Those things cast a wider net.
I still think about a blog article in the recent past that asked fans to write comments directly to the source of the article. Since then I have done this much more often. If those articles aren't supported with "hits" and comments, people will stop reporting on the show and an additional avenue of exposure will narrow.

It might also help to ask your cellular provider to set up Castle wallpaper and ringtones for phones. The more people who see them while shopping for new ones might get interested in seeing what Castle is all about.
You can do that? I'm not technologically inclined, but is there cellular provide who has Castle 'stuff'? If so, which one?
BTW, I'm a caked decorator and today I was taking an order from a customer, and she began spelling her last name, Perlmutter. I spelled it out before her and when she looked at me funny, I said, "There's a character on my favorite show with the same name." And she said, "The M.E. on Castle? I keep asking my husband if we are related!" We started talking about the show, and I felt myself blushing as though I were talking about my boyfriend.
Okay, that was slightly off topic, but… There are cellular providers that have Castle stuff?

OfflineLove that story Admin. So glad something good came out of that poll even though we didn't get the win. But I agree, I'm completely turned off by SPN fans, would never think of watching that show.
I try to do my part, I have converted 4 people, who now simply adore the show. I'm working on another two as well, and my family members want to try it out now that I've gotten the S1 and S2 DVDs.

I haven't run across any yet, but if we ask they might start. All it takes is a number of people asking. They provide several for customers who love other shows. So why not Castle fans…

OfflineYes… Let's get people fired up and spread the word some more. Come up with some creative ideas and I'll tweet them.
Sad to see ratings down again this week… let's see what we can do! It's slightly concerning to me that the big ep 13 (that everyone's been so desperately waiting for) comes after a repeat – I'm worried people won't know it's a new episode again so let's get the word out any way we can.

OfflineRecently I've started a Castle Convert Campaign where I try to convert at least one person a week to watch Castle. If they like it (and why wouldn't they), I tell them to spread the word to at least one friend, and hopefully the chain continues like that bad movie Pay It Forward. I challenge you to start a Castle Convert Campaign in your town:-)
