As far as I remember, the situation in the previous poll, for Male Crushes, where Castle competed with this NCIS guy, was developing exactly by the same scenario. We led at first, but then just in several hours before the voting closed, we began to loose with astonishing speed — it was like the more we voted, the faster we were loosing, as if all our votes went to the opposite side instead. No, I don't want to imply anything, but it definitely looked suspicious, and now it's happening again, and again with the NCIS rival. It never happened with any other rivals we faced in these polls. Maybe it's just the result of their facebook campaign, I don't know. Is this show indeed as awesome as to have that many rabid fans? (and rather abusive as well, judging from some of their comments, phew). I'm just curious, as I live outside US and have very little idea of what is popular on US TV. I tried to watch NCIS a while ago, when they broadcasted it on our TV, but soon gave up, as it seemed  just like yet another standard and mainstream police procedural, like many of its clones, without any special original flavour about it and without any outstanding or at least memorable performances. Just average all around. Maybe it's just me, though.

NCIS is much more popular and it's actually a good show once you get into it (and ignore some of the army patriotic stuff), it has some interesting characters and I really like Ziva. She is a good competition for Kate, she is beautiful but can kick your ass. And she also manages to be sexy by running around in very plain clothes. I wonder if Abby was in that poll at all, I think she is much more popular than Ziva, my dad, who really doesn't like that kind of tv shows, watches NCIS because of her (and McGee)

I just read that NCIS is THE most popular show in the US? (and Germany!) Really? Well then we did extremely well.

I really get so disappointed in the fans of the other shows on these polls. It gets so nasty and detracts from the purpose of the exercise, which is to vote fairly and let the stars of the shows know that despite the lack of awards, that the fans really appreciate their work. Stana has really outshone the others this year. She deserves credible recognition. Not the niggly personal attacks that go on with these random polls. Stana will always be our winner.
