I think every Castle fan should twitter countdown til the premiere cause then it'll show up in that side panel and get other twitter users to know about the show

It doesn't show up on the side panel unless massive numbers of people are talking about it at the same time. If you've ever clicked on one of the "trending topics" as I believe they're called, you'll notice that within a few seconds it'll tell you that tens (sometimes hundreds) of people have posted something with the same topic in the last few seconds.

Well if you think of it this way WriteRCastle has 6,000 + fans. Now we just have to get them to post it and all those fans will get the memo. In other words we need good connections to someone with lots of fans. lol.

Haha yeah. Or if Nathan tweeted it to all of his fans, and everyone posted about it… simultaneously, and multiple times haha. Who knows, it could work!

Only problem is we don't have anyone connected to Nathan so that he would get it. He uses Tweetie which is probably from his Iphone which means he doesnt get random peoples replies to his posts only people he's following. So we would need to work our way up a chain.

Yeah, that was kind of my point. It would take some major manpower to get it to show up. Who knows, though. Could happen.

P.S., I have no idea what all the little tweetie etc things are, I usually update from my laptop, not my phone. Too confusing :P

Yeah tweetie is an application download available for Mac computers and the IPhone. I'm still figuring what the other names are of some of the ways people can post.

If one is using their iphone via an internet connection they WILL see posts from people they are following and replies, not just DMs, it's only when someone doesnt' have an internet or 3G connection that they can only send posts or get DMs through the SMS phone system.

Nathan has already twittered about the WriteRCastle account once, I'm hoping he'll continue to mention it now and then, especially when the account starts heating up, which it will soon. I hope the # of followers goes through the roof, it's a fantastic way for them to promote the show and gain new viewers.

I agree, the twitter and facebook accounts for 'Richard Castle' are a genius advertising plan… and free to boot! It spreads the word and gives fans a bonus that other shows just don't (as far as I know). Keeps people hooked :)

there's a mystery well under way – everyone's signed up for twitter so they can follow haven't they? Castle is even asking for people to help him solve the mystery – what fun! make sure everyone knows!

ALso, whenevere you mention Castle in twitter use #Castle that will help with the trending topics attempt – don't use other varients, just stick with #Castle otherwise all the mentions get split up and not counted together.

That's what I would do, because that way it adds to the posts that people not participating in the campaign specifically use, I commonly post something and if it has anything to do with Castle will throw in an #Castle – it becomes habbit and I'm sure others are starting to do it too, that way you're not competing but working together. Of course, you're under no obligation to do what I suggest!

I like that idea. It would be an easier way to get "Castle" on the trending topic list because, as Admin pointed out, anyone who posts anything with the word Castle in it will have their post show up.

Most of my tweets are generally Castle related. I can't gush about it on facebook because my family and friends are watching that so I plug my Castle urges into Twitter. Thankfully no one else I know is on Twitter hahaha.

Not by me. ABC messed up the scheduling to where Little Girl Lost airs August 10 at 10pm, Death in the Family airs August 15 at 10pm, and Ghosts airs August 17 at 10pm. Home is Where the Heart Stops (my favorite episode) isn't going to air at all Cry
