I know most of us who are into voting in polls are voting in the favorite couple poll, but I saw this smaller one posted the other day and I just thought I'd share. Castle was winning yesterday and now it's much closer.

I just think it'd be a great gift to the writing staff if we can win this poll. We always talk about the great writing on this show, so let's show them we mean it.

I would love to see a victory for the writers. But if I'm not mistaken this poll is just like the other ones (Stana vs Emily, Nathan vs David) in that they never end?

I know, and the endlessness of it makes it frustrating (is that Stana vs Emily one still up?). Castle is ahead at 51.2% right now. Terri actually tweeted about this one though:

Polls like this are a bit silly, how many people who voted have actually seen enough episodes of both shows to make an honest judgment of who has better writing ? It seems to me the poll is just there to create pageviews for the site hosting it and get their name mentioned in tweets.

I've seen enough of both to make a decision. I think both series have had really outstanding episodes. Castle, by far, has been more consistent in the character development dept. However Bones has been on longer…
Looking at both series as they stand now; I'd go with Castle as having the better writers.

I'm so tired of people pitting these shows against each other. But anyway, I have seen all Bones episodes up until this season (where I have just given up) and even at its best, Castle is still better IMO. So I'm gonna try to vote like crazy on this one. [Image Can Not Be Found]

This was my first thought when I read the thread title.
It just seems to be a required element when talking about the show as a whole. Have to compare it to Bones . Just like when talking about a C/B relationship, Moonlighting has to come up. Just the media trying to make something out of nothing (as usual).

I've watched both shows and they both have good episodes, but Castle is better. So I cast my vote with Castle!!! I tip my pen to Castle's writing staff any day. [Image Can Not Be Found]

For me Castle, Bones never got it right. I have seen Bones every episode and i cant see it getting renewed for a 7 season (hope not)!

The writing is one thing that attacted me to this show – I'm a total sucker for great writing and it comes along so rarely in a TV show on a consistent basis. I know in the grand scheme of polls, this one probably will not get the show much press, I think we need to put our best effort into this one to show the writers we appreciate their work.
Just my opinion though.

It's nice to see it at 56.5% for Castle. I think when Terri tweeted Castle writing was behind, so hopefully she's keeping tabs! I've been throwing votes at Castle a little bit throughout each day…do the Wetpaint polls really have no end date? Or do they just disappear at some point? I've never seen a "results" tweet or article about them, but maybe I missed them.
ETA: I tweeted the current standings to Terri.

dmcw, I haven't seen any mention of results either. Not sure if they disappear after time or what. I don't know why you'd have a poll and not have some cut off date. Who wants to vote endlessly?
