Why does the voting have to last so long? Yikes.

I thought this was an interesting post from the ABC forum:

 

"One thing I was doing yesterday in voting, I've got 6 windows open and all minimized to fit 6 on my screen (3 up top and 3 on the bottom) with just the Castle tab and Vote showing. Click, vote, F5 to refresh. I've even turned my keyboard upside down for comfort for the F5 key to refresh. You can wiz across the screens and get as many votes in as fast as possible."

Wow.  Such a long voting period.  I was hoping the last round would be just a couple days.  And so much bouncing around of the percentages…during the time I was voting this afternoon, it was anywhere from 48.2 to 48.8% for Castle. 

I can't imagine how the voting power for Supernatural is so much greater than that of Castle and its fans.

I'm hoping Castle fans can pull this off, especially after the loss of the TV guide cover to them.  Let's get this over 50% for Castle to start!

I am already getting depressed.  I spent the last 2 hours voting with 4 open windows, and watched the percentage go from 48.6 to 48 in less than an hour.  Hopefully we can persevere and get in the lead.

 

Supernatural fans are so negative in their comments; really makes me want to win even more.

I'm doing something similar.  I've got four windows at one time open, and by the time I'm on the fourth window voting, the first page has refreshed, and is ready for voting again.

What I do is open the poll in multiple tabs and then cycle through all the tabs until they're all clicked on Castle. Then I cycle through again to submit the votes. That way you can Refresh all the polls at once and only have to move your mouse twice(use CTRL+PgUp to move through the tabs).

That was me who posted this at the ABC forum Smile  I was trying to figure out a way to just make votes get in faster and to get as many votes in as possible.  Anything to help us win this and beat the pants off Supernatural.  We have made some good ground back tonight.  Let's keep it going!

I've started when Castle was at 50.2%, now it's up with one notch, 50.3. That multiple tab/no image combination works quite well.
