For those of you already starting to feel Castle-withdrawal symptoms, I give you the product of what I can only describe as a feverish brain explosion that occurred post-finale. I don't do many fan videos–this is my third in three years–but, after watching the finale, I was overwhelmed… honestly, I don't think I've ever been quite so driven to edit something… you can also think of this as a companion piece to what I wrote in the post-finale thread about Montgomery and how he guided the partnership between Beckett and Castle.

WOW. That is amazing work, and one I will watch again and again. I love how you integrated Montgomery's guidance and influence into the Castle/Beckett relationship so clearly and beautifully. Great use of snippets of dialogue as well…I especially love the quote about Beckett not having any fun before Castle came along timed to the song picking up and the scenes of Castle and Beckett enjoying each other that followed. Thank you for sharing this! Just fantastic.

Aww, thanks! 
I love doing these videos, but I tend to wait for inspiration to strike. I'm a big believer in the notion that a video should "say" something otherwise it becomes a kind of visual equivalent of elevator music. I'd been waiting all season to stumble upon a song or an idea that I could use as an anchor point, but it wasn't until the finale that I got that thunderclap of inspiration.
Anyways, I don't know when I'll be doing another one. My computer was having serious issues with editing this toward the end. I spent about four hours ripping it apart and stitching it back together after the software choked on it about 70% of the way through completion. I think some of the lipsync on Montgomery's dialogue may be off because of it. I'll probably to wait until I get a new computer or more memory or something before I make another attempt.
