The response you're most likely to get from others is: ask the people over at http://fashion.castletv.net , so that's your best bet. Admittedly, they tend to focus a whole lot more on Beckett's clothes than Castle's, but still worth a shot.

In one of the "Investigating Castle" video clips (visit with the costumer) he said that they custom make most of Rick's clothes. Do not know if that goes for his overcoat or not.
