I have recently noticed the bracelet that Kate wears. She may have always had it but it was conceled by her fathers watch. Did I miss something? Was it a gift from someone?

I think it's a Stana-thing, not a Beckett-thing. You can also see SK wearing it in the TVG pics and other press photos.

the bracelet is definitely Stana's. i have this wishful thought that it may be from Victor. She started wearing that around the time Victor came back from shooting Scorpion King. But again, wishful thinking…

RCL tweeted before that any jewerly they are wearing is the "characters" jewerly. So the friendship bracelet is Beckett's, not something that Stana is wearing personally.
RCL also tweeted that there's a mystery regarding the friendship bracelet and it would be revealed before the season is over. My person guess, it came from Alexis.
You should kiss that girl while you are both young.

Thanx for that info rkcaskett..I had been told that actors weren't usually allowed to wear personal jewelry while filming, and hoped that it was in deed a 'Beckett' thing..now I can only hope that it is a sign of bonding between her and Alexis. That would be so sweet.

I thought of this right after my last reply, but could it possibly be from DMB and we see her take it off/throw it away after they break-up. I say that b/c it kind of looks like a bracelet you would buy in a street market, possibly in Africa.

This is also my thought. When did Beckett start wearing the bracelet? We might never see VW in person on the show again, but the bracelet disappearing could be the subtle answer to the break up.

It might be as simple as seeing her taking it off and Castle asking what it is as she is getting rid of it, "Oh Josh gave it to me." (throws in trash). But then she doesn't say anything else and they move on so Castle is kind of like.. :?

I don't think we'll even get a concrete reason for the bracelet. They've never pointed it out before so its disappearance would probably be as subtle as its appearance. The bracelet could just be a clue for the viewers to pick up on as a sign of the relationship while DMB is away and out of the picture; he's out of sight, out of mind, but that bracelet is his stand in.

That's a good point. Because when you see it viewers might think, "Where'd she get that? Oh maybe Josh."
