I think it's more likely that someone might accidentally call her Beckle. That's what I would like to see/hear in the bloopers.

By the way, I just logged onto ABC's site and did my weekly "comment" which is usually just letting them know how much I LOVE Castle. However, I added a 2nd comment, suggesting they could make money by selling Caskett and Beckle T-shirts. I think the best way to have a shot at them actually doing so is if a whole bunch of us write to them and ask them for such T-shirts. So, if you truly want to stir up things, write to ABC, mention you love the characters Castle and Beckett, and then mention THIS fan site and the creation by us fans of the terms Caskett and Beckle who'd like to be able to purchase T-Shirts with those "characters" on them. For you really creative people (of which I'm definitely NOT one), you might come up with a Logo or caricatures that would have Castle superimposed over Beckett (for Caskett) or Beckett superimposed over Castle (for Beckle) or come up with some other wonderful idea for a logo for our "new" creation (maybe half of one's face and half of the others???—I'm just saying I'm NOT the creative one here)

I'd prefer you not make it sound like this site is responsible for the Beckle movement if you don't mind… I don't mind everyone having a bit of fun, but I'd prefer the ABC take this site seriously. I would suggest though, because Beckle and Caskett are not terms or used by the program or the ABC in any way there's probably nothing stopping some of you coming up with your own designs on a site like cafepress.

Oops, sorry Admin. I only mentioned this site because it seems to generate a ton of fan interest and commentary. If our idea of creating T-shirts for Caskett and Beckle actually come to fruition and make ABC any money it would be nice for them to recognize which site was responsible for this level of fan interest. I concur, however, that having ABC take this site seriously is the top priority. How else would we get the writers to come to our chat rooms.

Yeah I agree…they need to take us seriously expecially since we have big people involved with the show comming here. I will be looking into designing a shirt if anyone would like to see one…haven't started yet though

Well, I'm NOT the creative one here. However, it seems to me that something OTHER than just the word Beckle, like a KB or NF silhouette, or perhaps a combo–left side of one and right side of the other, a truly "combination" silhouette–with the word Beckle ON the silhouette or above it or something, would provide the viewers of the shirt more of a hint about what a "Beckle" is.

Actually, I'd guess that would be a KB or a RC silhouette or a combo. I was getting my actors and characters mixed up incongruously there. Or a SK/NF silhouette. Or perhaps a picture of a castle (or a chess piece Rook) would suffice to "give a hint" about a Beckle.

Only problem I can see with a KB RC silhouette is that you might run into "copywrite" infringement whereas with a chess piece (and the castle/rook is the same piece) you should have no problems. Of course, if such a silhouette only stays on this website it's likely okay, but if it should make its way onto some clothing, you could have difficulties with a copywrited picture.
I'm off to Philly for a Criminology Convention, so I won't be back online for a WEEK….ugh!! I'll be interested in seeing what everyone eventually comes up with for our "Beckle logo".

k, read through all of these… and I kinda like the chess piece (Castle of course) idea and then write the name BECKLE (all caps for universal wear) writen on it (down it).. I think that would tie it together without infringment rights.. right? What your thoughts Beckle-lers?
plus, I had to comment somewhere.. as I was on #13.. now on #14 whew! I'm not superstious… as I knock on wood.
