, I've had a fellow canine cross stitcher recommend some software she loves and had good results with. I did put one piece into a converter online, guess size to be say 8 by 10 and it spit out about 25 colours needed and over 60 thousand little x's. EEK! LOL. Methinks I'll be uh, smallening my piece to try. Happy to post pics of what I'm going to do as it moves along. I know it was suggested that a March 8 end date for completion, however, unless you are sitting all day or can dedicate X hours a day, a month and a bit for a decent size piece won't work with that deadline for me. If the other chatters last night want to add their thoughts, project ideas etc, go ahead and use this thread. I have no idea what to do with the completed piece(hope it doesn't end up like the wedding piece!) but its a good challenge to take me into spring and keep mind off snow, cold and the long Canadian winter.
