Hey all

As a lot of us write fanfic I thought it may be a good idea to start a list of of who writes it, what sort of stuff they write, where they have published it (and links if that is OK) and under what name.

Let me tell you something about crazy people. The sex is unbelievable.

Uhhh… technically I have written two fics? Posted at LJ (castle_fic) and FF.Net under the name aethre, as well as my blog and Google Wave (yes, seriously. First person to post fanfic on GWave, woot!). Just run a search for with:public with:aethreeal tag:castle. (Yes, the tag part is important – I'm a heavy contributor to the Stargate Waves. Without the tag all you'll get is a deluge of ramblings semi-related to Stargate.)

As for what I write… vaguely cracky humour/ust for the most part.

I'm currently working on my first Fanfic called When you play with fire, you get burned. I decided to start writing it when the idea came to me during this painfully long hiatus.

The sypnosis: After a tough case Castle convinces Kate to spend family night with him. However, the night doesn't end like either one of them expected. It's a fun little story with the classic Beckett/Castle banter that we love so much! It can be found here.

And, it's published under the name CastleLover. (ShutTheFrontDoor was already taken )

I also have it posted on this fourm, for those who don't have Fanfiction, so they're able to subscribe to the thread!

Hope you all enjoy it, and reviews are greatly appreciated!

Hmm, I kind of love all the Fanfics mentioned so far. They're great :) I especially liked As Good As On Paper and What Kate Wrote.

A couple of my fan fics are posted in this forum under the titles "First Kiss" and "The Funeral". I've registered on fanfiction.net, but cannot post, either because I'm a new member or because of an account infraction. I'm not sure why there's an infraction since I haven't done anything on the site at all. Does anyone know how long a new member has to wait before posting something? Help please.

@Nev827 I dunno, I haven't been a new member attempting to upload something since 2002. But it seems like you have to agree to the terms and conditions just about every time you upload a new document. The guidelines should be here – just scroll past them to the very bottom and click on the text link saying that you accept.

Thanks for your help Nikki. I went back to the site, accepted the terms & conditions and was told I had to wait 2 days per the site's policy to avoid spammers signing up and spamming everyone. That's OK with me.

I have posted 3 stories, and I'm working on 2 more. So many revisions! This is my first foray into writing, and I'm finding out just how difficult it is, but oh so addictive. Just when I think that an idea may be too "weird", I think, hey, why not? Most of my stuff stays on my computer and I have a lot of "scenes" that are cool, but don't really go anywhere. Working on two short stories right now, just a few dozen revisions to go….

All of the fiction on this site is really great stuff, let's let our imaginations run wild !

I've got 3 of my stories posted on fanfiction.net, First Kiss, The Funeral, and a newer one called Strange Bedfellows. I just finished a fourth, called Siren Song, and posted it in the Get Creative forum. It's not up on ff.net yet though.

I have done fan fiction for other shows, but I haven't done any Castle ones yet mainly because I am still fairly new to the show and not comfortable enough to be able to write the characters in a believable manner that doesn't make any mistakes in action or personality from what's been portrayed so far. Once I get more comfortable with the show, I might try my hand at it, but I still have two stories that I have to finish beforehand. If anyone wants to check out my non-Castle fan fictions, I'd be willing to send them links to those stories via PM so as not to clutter these boards.

I posted a few posts up, but there's some updates! I finished When you play with fire, you get burned, and I also did another one-shot. I'm currently working on the sequel to Fire. I had a few people saying to do a continuation of my one-shot, so I just might. I also have half of another one-shot typed up, so that might be making an appearance in the near future.
