So while on Twitter today Save Castle called us (as Castle fans) Rooks… Is this the name we're calling ourselves? Is this new? Or, did I just never realize it?

It is pretty new but it's also smart being that in chess Rook is the name for the Castle piece.

I agree, but before I start telling people I'm a Rook, I want to make sure people are in agreement to this being used to describe us.

Rooks would be the term used to describe Castle fans.
Example: Firefly fans are called Browncoats.

To me Groupie always reminds me of a hippie or of someone who follows their favorite musical artist from venue to venue. Either way I'm calling myself a Stanatic.
