I personally think that while she did a wonderful job (and thank God they made her actually likeable) but I don't really want her back simply because I feel as though her character served her purpose.

Agreed. I definitely liked her role and how she interacted with Castle. The only reason I would want to see her again is if the storyline gets to the point where Beckett needs some motivation to get things into gear…

I applaud Alyssa Milano for playing Kyra with just the right touch of melancholy pathos, a lot of which has to be conveyed with just a glance. You feel for her even though you have much more of an emotional investment in Beckett. That is no small achievement with rabid Castle fans.

So I won't be against her making another appearance since the writers did such a great job with the first one.
