I have found this picture on one of our local site devoted to TV series and as the first topic in this section is from 2009, maybe it's new here. It was not credited, but it has to be from the ABC press kit. The photo was taken for the 2008 upfront and according to the article the at that time Castle was not a mystery but a horror writer (maybe a translation mistake) and he was not divorced.

… and then tamala jones' character became more popular and the producers had her showing up more often that originally planned and they photoshopped her into the pic, along with seamus dever.

 

 

those are the facts that are in my mind… someone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong?

Yeas, I've seen the second one with the photoshopped background, but not the original one. That was probably another shot from the same series, as NF is posing differently, and SK on the original one is turning towards him while on the later ones she was flipped away.
