In a season of Castle ignored by other sources of recognition, I'll take it…but I think "guilty pleasure" doesn't give the kind of acknowledgement Castle and its writers and actors deserve.

Well said! It's funny this article came out because since all the entertainment magazines are now putting out their Best of 2010 editions, I've been flipping through all of them looking for Castle to be mentioned. But alas, I've been disappointed. One of the best shows on TV and a consistent ratings grabber for ABC and it gets ignored left, right, and sideways? Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox now and send a bit of gratitude to that paper for finally giving the show some well-deserved recognition.

umm… isn't "guilty pleasure" used to describe something crappy that you can't stop watching, like a reality show or something like that?

no a guilty pleasure is "A Deep Fried Twinkie" – that you know is NOT good for you.
Castle does not belong in this category.
Castle is a must see!!
And is good for you with no serious side effects, other than dissecting every word spoken and look given.
