Hi all.  Check out this interview with Morena Baccarin, currently starring on V, and formerly Nathan's co-star on Firefly and Serenity:

I doubt her guest starring on Castle will work out since she has her ownshow, but you never know and at least they're making an effort to make it happen since they know us fans would love it!  Squee!

As V is far from strong, I'm affraid next year she will have fewer scheduling problem to appear in Castle, not that I wish this for her. Surely I would love to see her in the show! Maybe in a seducive badass role, even in Inara's role she had steel beneath the soft and beautiful surface.

Morena's character doesn't have so much scenes in "V", so I'm pretty sure it's gonna be doable to get her for a guest role on "Castle" Smile

I've always loved the idea of Firefly cast members doing guest roles on Castle. There are possibilites for a ton of references about Firefly between Castle and their roles.

 

Morena/Inara would be great as a former romantic interest for Castle, but that wouldn't be likely now. I've also thought of Wash, Zoe, or Jayne's characters being one of Castle's old friends on the show.

 

Regardless, I hope it works out for her. Would love to see her make an appearance. And also would love to see her in the Avengers movie.

I would love to see Morena on Castle. I still miss Firefly a lot. 

 

Jewel and Morena really exchange some zingers with each other on twitter. Bounce The cast has such a good, goofy chemistry. It reminds me of the cast of Castle.

Perhaps they don't want to make "Castle" too "Firefly" oriented…

I get the Firefly connection but if we are getting someone from V on the show, I'd rather it be Laura Vandervoort Bounce2

I've always hoped for anyone from Firefly to make it on the show, but especially Morena and Jewel Staite.  TPTB have said in the past that they're open to having Jewel on, they just have to figure out what kind of role she would play. 

It'd be so fun to have  any of them guest star!  They all got along so well and had such great chemistry.
