OfflineWell, here are finally the scans of the magazine with the article translated, it is a very long article. I did my best translating it so if there are some mistakes, I'm sorry
Btw, I love the cover
…and the article! Can't believe this long article is about Castle, WOW!
Hope you all enjoy reading it as I have enjoyed it
There are not many new things that we don't know yet but anyway… enjoy! Red colour text is a spoiler.
Number of magazine: 955. Saturday July 3 to Friday July 9 2010.

Here is the translation:
Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic go their separates ways in the end of Castle
“Our romance isn’t writed yet”
Not even in the ending of this season the cynic writer and the strict cop give a moment’s peace. And the sexual tension grows up when his ex-wife appears.
They have solved together a lot of crimes. But the intesity of their work hasn’t blown up the obvious. Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) like each other but they are predestined for carrying out a novel’s story without writing yet. And Gina (Monet Mazur), the ex-wife and editor of him, and Demming (Michael Trucco), mate of her, have much to do with that.
Castle finish its second season on Cuatro on Thursday, July 15 –on AXN, one week later -converted in a sensational new tv show. The game of seduction between the imprudent and shrewd writer and the rational and reserved cop, create addiction. A good narrative trick exploited over and over again, from Moonlighting to Bones or The Mentalist. The original touch of Castle is that contributes an approach more literary to each criminal case. Hardly there are scenes of blood and dismembered dead bodies but there are insight and a lot of sense of humor.
The show of the death
“This work is very funny, is an authentic comedy, and that is one of the reasons why this goes very well. We are making a show of police procedures, where until a death is an spectacle. But that doesn’t minimize the great details of the plots”, says Nathan.
He is the eager novelist who collaborates with the NYPD to look for inspiration. This inspiration is Kate Beckett, a woman who moves away of the strict discipline of her work for listening the reflections of the imaginative but scatterbrained writer, who even turns to his friends (Michael Conelly, James Patterson and Stephen J. Cannell, real writers of best sellers) to follow his investigations.
The good chemistry between Castle and Beckett isn’t just an interpretative practice. “It emerges of a natural way. Nathan has a great talent and he loves what he does, it is easy play with him”, says Stana, happy with her role. Nathan, gentlemanly as his character, says: “She’s as a delicious cake. She knows the language of seduction and we have fun together”.
They are so satisfied of the effect obtained that they resist to break that fragile balance that they support in fiction: “If we get married, for example, the star would disappear. They feel attracted to each other, but they don’t admit it. Although between each other there is a great respect, they are very different. The life of Richard is a madness and she is emotionally blocked. They have a long road ahead. Our romance isn’t writed yet”, adds Nathan.
The chance of rebelling
Castle is very seductive. His number of conquests is proportional to the number of episodes. However, Kate hasn’t fallen into the arms of anyone until these last episodes. The chosen one is the rough detective Demming.
For Stana this turn is decisive for the future of Castle and Beckett: To impose her authority is important for Kate, but now she shows her side wild, finally she is letting one’s hair down and that make her even more attractive. The hard girl has the chance of liberating herself”.
The actress, who enjoys as boss surround with men, she already seduced to James Bond (Daniel Craig) in Quantum of Solace. And she has advices for Kate: “You need to be passionate, spicy, this is what makes you beautiful. Flirting is the funniest of the relationship between man and woman”. That and look after out. She get it thanks to the practice of martial arts; that’s why is easy for her knocking out to the bad guys.
Of course, she’d like her capacity to learn, but she prefers to be: “a little more free, creative and, definitely more daring. Sometimes I think my character has more age. But she is a good persona and she protects the life of others. I admire her sense of integrity”.
She plays with a mate and he goes to the reconciliation
Picture 1
Nothing will be able to ruin the good understanding between Beckett and Demming (Michael Trucco), not even Castle.
Picture 2
But when Kate accepts her feelings by Castle and she chooses to stay with the writer, He is back with his ex-wife (Monet Mazur).
Picture 3
Castle will play a last game with writers Michael Connelly, James Patterson and Stephen J. Cannell.
–
Serie The personality of the mother and of the daughter of the main character have hooked also to the audience.
Pic Susan Sullivan
Divine actress.
Susan Sullivan acts as the matriarch and she radiates glamour. “Old age isn’t a handicap, you just have to know to enjoy it”.
A very wise young lady
From seductive and funny man to loving but insecure dad. Castle has an allied in her daughter Alexis (Molly C. Quinn), a 16 years young lady, which he relies his worries and she win him over and over again with her logic and sense of responsibility. Molly is similar to her character: “I always had clear that I wanted to be an actress and this is like a dream. I feel the duty to do it well”. The redhead girl with a bright and sparkling eyes knows she has much time left “to do all what she’d want, even to direct”.
For the moment, she enjoys the experience of Castle: “I have the opportunity to do comedy, but this tv show also shows the small difficult situations of a girl, and I must to learn how to overcome them at the same time, and it isn’t easy. I have to keep growing and to face with the difficult situations inside and outside the work”.
Nathan doesn’t want to bel ess interesting and he radiates irony: “Richard has more charm than me, but his magic catch me. I’m domestic, he probably enjoys more being surrounded by people”, says the actor, who we have seen him in Desperate Housewives as well.
He admires all defects of his character above all: “This work seems for me a challenge, it’s something really fresh and comforting in my profession. Richard makes an effort to be a good guy. The problem is that he don’t know when he must shut up, he doesn’t understand the word ‘enough’. And that happens to him cause he hasn’t an adult example in his life”.
The charm of the ex-wife
That childish character that irritates to Kate is other of his strong points. The problem comes up when he turns to his fantasies and vigor: “Castle doesn’t know how a man must behave and he doen’t get rid of the label of ‘boy’.
But his immaturity is still attractive to his ex-wife, the sexy Gina, who reappears in the final episode as his lifeguard.
It’s the second collaboration of this actress, singer and model in this tv show and she may be in the new episodes.
Her glamorous and frivolous image contrasts with the lifestyle of this minor character imprescindible in the most viewed tv shows, Cold Case or C.S.I. Miami: “I have traveled all around the world, I was a free spirit”. Married to director Alex de Rakoff and mother of a child, she was part of the rock band Nancy Raygun.
A fascinating family
She isn’t the only woman who influences on Castle, also is his mother, Martha (Susan Sullivan), and his daughter Alexis (Molly C.Quinn).
The unforgettable Maggie Globertie (Falcon Crest) relieves her frustration being the conscience of her son: “I like going to lectures on old aging and women. There is where I really learn to grow old, something so difficult in this damn Hollywood. I’m the oldest of this show!”. She’ll be 68 years in November.
She is influenced by the vitality of the daughter of Castle, a teenager who shows the good sense and common sense in family relationships: “Alexis is the adult of the clan, the only one who is able to see what happen to her grandmother or to her father. Any act has its consequences, she learned this watching them”, says Molly.
In this finale stage, whereas Alexis demands more independence –an attitude that exasperates to her father-, Martha assume her age and she becomes less frivolous. They both encourage to Castle to admit his attraction to Kate finally. But their arguments won’t be enough effective.
The most sexiest
Her presence in the first episode of the tv show didn’t go by unnoticed.
Monet Mazur, apart from playing to the ex-wife, she’s too the demanding editor of Castle, the successful writer in dry patch.
She reappears in the final episode of season 2 as improvised muse of the writer. An unexpected narrative twist. As well, we can see her on NCIS: Los Angeles, on Telecinco, she’ll seduce to Chris O’Donnell. This will be next July 26.
Laurie Zaks is the executive producer of ‘Castle’
“There are a long way to go until we see them together”
Taking advantage of her trip to Madrid, Laurie Zaks agreed to give us an interview where she reveals the best kept secrets of the breakout (sensational new) tv show of the season.
Where is the success of the tv show?
In fact, the show likes since short time ago. Spectators like the characters, the script is well writed and is solved a mistery in each episode.
Castle and Beckett going to end up together?
I can only say that their relationship will be the source of so many comments. We have a long way to go until we see them together.
Do you think is good to mix love with work?
Personally it isn’t a good idea (laughts). But it is also true that at work is where we spend most of time. Happens to me, at least.
How was the casting to find to Nathan and Stana?
When he read the script he said us: “Stop looking. I’m this guy”. For Kate, we saw over 150 actresses. Stana had the best chemistry with Nathan.
Many series that fall. And you have signed for a third season!
It’s a miracle. And do you know why? You don’t have to see the show since the beginning to get hooked on it.
Advance us something…
"Castle will travel to Los Angeles with Beckett to oversee the film adaptation of his book… And she will be the target of a serial killer."
Will there be guest stars?
We’ll try it. There are movie stars that seems they make you a favor when they work on TV. Yes, it’s great!.
The first book, Heat Wave has been a bestseller. Will there be more books published?
Of course. This autumn will be in stores Naked Heat. On the cover there is a naked woman, and Stana is disappointed cause it isn't her!.

OfflineThanks, K-Becks!
"That childish character that irritates to Kate is other of his strong

“Castle doesn’t know how a man must behave and he doen’t get rid of the
label of ‘boy’."
This part struck me and I'm glad they mentioned it. As mature as Castle is when it comes to raising Alexis and helping out his mother, he needs to realize that he can still be playful and be a grown man. Being told that he is "such a boy" shouldn't be a compliment.
Right?

OfflineWow! Thanks for such a thorough translation of a long article! It was interesting to read the scans first and then go back and read your translation. Kind of a learning experience for me. Anyway, it's awesome that Castle got such great coverage. It must be pretty popular in Spain?
Also, here were some bits I liked:
"El juego de seduccíon entre el escritor imprudente y sagaz y la agente racional y reservada crea adiccíon." (The game of seduction between the imprudent and clever writer and the rational and reserved cop creates addiction.) OCD, anyone?
"Stana es como un pastel apetitoso." -Nathan. For whatever reason, this made me laugh out loud.

) – the constant talk of it being a long time before Castle and Beckett get together is getting on my nerves..moonlighting blah blah.. over and over I am hearing this.. I am trying to move past this so I can just enjoy the rest of the show- but it keeps getting in my face!!! argh!! ( I don't think the writers care if comments are negative.. so long as there are lots, and so long as we keep on watching.. hmmm… I am going to stew over that one.. )
and I hope Beckett doesn't need a man to liberate herself…I thought she showed her wild side in the mistress spanks twice.. ( hey, maybe that is where the upcoming motorbike comes in!! )
.. the picture is labelled ' Dead Sexy' – now…. is it just me?? or is that in pretty poor taste? I know Castle comes out with this stuff and in the context of the show we groan and think it is funny too.

OfflineDoz – I just went quickly through the episode – no white board! (I knew there was something "off" about that episode
) So all of it is created for the press photos, not for the episode that they got the crime scene photos from. And we know the PR people need to get a sex reference in there, tasteful or not.

Thanks K-Becks! That was interesting. Thanks for translating, it was very long indeed! The way I read the part in red, the serial killer isn't necessarily in Los Angeles. That may be two separate spoilers.
Agreed. Cuz we know there's gonna be a serial killer showing up throughout the season that will be a challenge to Beckett and Castle.
I can't wait to see the two head to "LA" – what I want to know is how Castle pursuades Beckett to go with him!! lol Although, she'd want to make sure that Nikki Heat is being portrayed correctly..but without seeming to eager to go with Castle. hahaah Should be entertaining, eh! You know Ryan and Esposito will have fun with that one, lots of teasing I'm sure.
Thanks for the article & translation. Fun to read.

OnlineDoz, I'm having some of the same "scratch your head" moments with this article as you. But….I really think that my lack of understanding can be attributed to to difficulties in translating from one language to another. Some of the article really has me laughing out loud. Thank you so much K-Becks for the translation, I enjoyed it.
