May I just say thank you to Nalissa2 for that great avatar (I hope that's what it's called – I'm so out of the loop with computer/forum terms)?  It captures the Castle/Beckett chemistry perfectly! 

I know just where Northridge is – have been to that bookstore, as a matter of fact, since I live in Studio City, onlyl 15 -2o minutes away.  I won't be able to get to the book signing, though – can't justify doing it as much as I'd love to.  I'm even more frustrated because I am pretty sure Nathan lives in Studio City and maybe close to my neighborhood – read somewhere about a park he was seen in on Labor Day – only a couple of minutes from my home!  And as I mentioned in another post a few months ago, I saw him (and girlfriend) in the market one day in the neighborhood.  So it's fun to think of possibly bumping into him at a place other than the book signing…yet that will probably never happen again, because it was just random luck the other time. And I probably wouldn't talk to him if I saw him again, anyway!

Nathan: Yes, yeah we can tell you. This is the book Richard Castle has been basing on Kate Beckett for he entire first season. So –now that the book is actually coming out.

(Stana interjects) It’s got a shnazzy cover.

(Nathan laughs) Yeah, you’re a big fan.

Nathan: It’s ah going to actually hit bookshelves… and ah people I think are going to be very satisfied.

Number 1. (looks at Stana) It’s a good read on its own.

Stana: Have you.. have you  read it?

Nathan: I’m on chapter 4…5.

Stana: They haven’t let me read it yet, ya know.

Nathan: I said; wait till I finish before she gets it. (Muffled..something.. slow heat?)

Stana: No.. no they haven’t let me read it because I’m reading it in the next episode. Finally.

Nathan: Ah.

Stana: Hm. (claps)

Nathan: She’s method like that.

Stana: Uh hm.

Nathan: So it’s a good read on its own, but it sounds like something Richard Castle would write.

Stana: From his perspective. (deadpan)

Nathan: And he pulls a lot of stuff from Kate Beckett and Richard Castle’s actual experiences. A lot of lines, a lot of experiences and a lot of bits from the show are in the book.

Stana: And can I plug the signature?

Nathan: Please.

Stana: OK. Nathan is going to be at a couple of bookstores soon to sign it off as RC.

Nathan: Do I sign as RC or do I sign as Nathan Fillion.

Stana: …or as Nathan Castle?

Nathan: Someone’s going to be disappointed either way.
