I think they all look GORG!! they are a great looking bunch!
It looks a bit strange to me though- with them being all dressed up at the police station! I find that kinda bizarre.. but certainly they are lookin good! At least Beckett isn't standing in the victim's blood in these shots heheheee..
I do wonder what Alexis and Martha are doing in the photo.. it is set at the police station – they don't belong in the police station – much less in their formal wear..
I saw the cover of an NCIS dvd this morning, after having seen these promo pics and I immediately remembered this cast shot from Castle.. Does this look familiar to anyone??
A cop (-ish) show.. all dressed up for no particular reason for their group publicty shot.. hmm..

i just realized that susan sullivan/martha rodgers has gone back to dying her hair red again for the show. i thought that towards the end of season two she said she started wearing red wigs instead because all that work was doing too much damage to her real hair?
as for rick castle's attire… what is with the somewhat worn shoes? espcially since montgomery, ryan and epsosito have some shiny footwear on.
and as for how beckett is dressed in the individual shot next to the stairs… i'm just going to assume she just got off her shift and she has changed to go out on the town with lanie… or with biker boy.

thumper if I'm not mistaken, I thought she said she would be getting a new wig for Season 3 in her episode commentary. So if it looks different, I think that's why.

No they are shooting (or were shooting last week) Episode 5, that's Gina's episode. There were posts about it on the ABC forum from an extra but those were removed. If Admin approves I put into the EP5 topic what I remember (that wasn't very much info, only about the case story).
No, it's not ok. ABC removed it because whoever was lucky enough to get that set visit abused the privilege and posted major spoilers – that's a big no-no so it won't be posted here either.

wow, Doz, talk about over-analyzing! LOL! Why are they dressed up? Because it looks good. Why are Martha and Alexis at the precinct? Because they are part of the cast and that's where the photos were taken.
Now, did you protest like this when they were posing around that giant book "back in the day"? Why would everybody be meeting at that book? And Beckett was leaning over and waving her arms – totally out of character ;D
It's promotional pictures. Not character studies.

If we want to look something into the full cast photo, it is because they all will be on the red carpet for the premiere of the Heat Wave movie. But the real reason must have been to throw Stana's long legs into the scale against Grace Park's bikini eyecandy. [Image Can Not Be Found]

The giant book promo made perfect sense.. as everyone in the show becomes a part of Castle's novels.. it was crazy fun, very cute..
Yeah I find these random super dressed up pics in the precinct strange (granted very goodlooking too!!)..it's not crazy cute.. if it was fun I'd go with it.. but they appear to be taking it seriously..
Hey, in no way am I attempting to convince anyone of anything.. people can think what they like.. and I'll 'over analyze' if I like..

The truth is Doz – the promo pics don't relate to the storyline – it's like the promo where they're playing pool – it's not directly related to the storyline – just something to grab people's attention

Even if the pictures don't relate to any particular storyline, I think it's perfectly appropriate to show everyone dressed up. This show has the good fortune of revolving around a novelist who attends events, so between the Heatwave movie and Naked Heat launch, there will certainly be opportunities for the characters to dress up this season. I love it.
As for Castle with the untied tie, I think it simply sets him apart as the "rogue" of the group. As far as life in the precinct goes, his presence always makes things unpredictable. Or…it could just be because it looks hot. [Image Can Not Be Found]
