Here an article I found today on often overlooked TV performances for Emmy nominations. Castle is also mentioned (of course!)!

Thanks for the link! It really is too bad that there isn't more variety in the nominees from year to year…especially for a show like Castle, which may not be a drama considered serious enough, but which has some fantastic performances. There aren't many actors or shows that can consistently deliver both comedy and drama well.

I agree. I don't even watch the awards shows anymore because they are so predictable. Castle clearly deserves an Emmy. If nothing else, Stana deserves one for her performance in Knockout alone!!

I have to agree with this article. The Emmy nominations are getting stale. Honestly it isn't even the fact that Castle was over looked this year.
Okay yes I'm disappointed. But come award season the shows and actors are alawys the same. I have my favorites that are nominated and I enjoy seeing the shows and actors win but if there's no change in nomanies then the awards get predictable and boring reguardless of who the host is, No offense to Jane Lynch I'm sure she'll do great.
I think other shows deserve a fighting chance. I really would have liked for Castle to have been nominated and especially Stana Katic for "Knockout"

Sad to say that I believe the article is so true. I do wish more shows would get recognition, even ones I don't watch. Why? Because they deserve a fighting chance.

ShortSweet201, the nominations for this year haven't even been announced publicly (according to the website), so I'm confused about what you're saying. Could you elaborate?

I like the term -Personality Procedural-, had not seen that before. I don't see it happening but it would be lovely to see some recognition for the Castle team. What network shows the Emmy's. What are our chance that Nathan and Stana might present at least?.

July 14th, from what I've read. The predictions I've seen (who knows how accurate they are??) show absolutely no hope for a nomination for Castle in any category. It pissed me off.

I think that was the Creative Arts Emmy night where she presented with AWM and they showed the Beckett Hair compile yes? I would like to see her on the main presentation gig, she deserves it. I think Nathan presented with ED of Bones at last year's prime time awards. Would love to see our DD together.

You're right, Stana and Andrew Marlowe presented at Creative Arts Emmy and they showed the Beckett Hair compile. High time to see Stana presenting on the main presentation gig, she totally deserves it. It would be great if they presented together with Nathan, fingers crossed…
