Well, she has four brothers and 1 sister.
In one of the interviews I read, she said she's very proud of them. Stana is the oldest. Stana said they are all tall. And that all of the six children were born in a span 7 years. hahaha.

How many siblings do you have?

There’s six of us. I’m the oldest. There’s about seven years between all of us, from top to bottom. We’re all oddballs doing different things in the world, and they’re all on their way to growing into really interesting adults, although I don’t know if any of us will ever really be adults, because we’re all really strange. (laughs)

“Strange” must mean they’re all very interesting.

They are, and they’re all beautiful, really tall, and they’re all adventuresome. They’re wonderful spirits and I’m really honored to have them as my siblings. It’s like walking with an army when we go someplace together. (laughs) I’m really proud of them.

In the interview she also talks about her parents. I love how she talks about them. They seem like a really close-knit family.

For anyone who has not read that interview, it was amazing!  I was impressed with Stana before, but I have a whole new appreciation now.  She is incredibly insightful and intellectual.  I always find it inspiring to read about people who have a true passion for the work they do, a genuine curiosity about the world and history, and a zeal for living life to the fullest.

As for Stana and her siblings, I can only hope my kids have such beautiful things to say about each other some day!

Actually, when I read that interview, i really became a fan even more. She's so insightful and thoughtful. I have always noticed that in her interviews, she always seem to take time to think first before she speaks.

She really does seem like a very intelligent girl. I think having such a great family and also having varied interests and having such respect and passion for her craft and profession keeps her grounded. She truly is the epitome of brains and beauty.
