m_hanh: I don't think it was PBS, I thought it was a freelancer from Sweden doing a documentary. I could be wrong, but chatted the gal up for awhile and didn't sound like it was for PBS.
Lisa Stokke is from Norway, not Sweden, so if it was her you "chatted up", maybe that's where you went wrong…

Man, that is so American getting Norway and Sweden confused! I'm usually much better than that with geography, but since my company has a bunch of clients in the Nordic region – Norway, Sweden and Finland and one sales guy handles that territory – I tend to think of them as one entity, the Nordic region.

OfflineThe film crew was definitely there with Lisa Stokke, I sat right near her and we talked for a while and I asked her if they were there with her. She's doing a film called "Lisa goes to Hollywood" which is about her attempt to get into being an actor in Hollywood. She lives in London now and she's over here for a few months working on her project. Afterwards, her crew was positioned at the bottom of the stairs where the actors came down so she interviewed Stana as soon as she came down the stairs. She was a very sweet lady and very chatty, I don't remember who, but someone mentioned "Stanatics" to her and then mentioned that people had come from out of town to see Stana, so Lisa wanted to explain it in Norwegian to the camera so the guy turned the camera back on and she did a short thing that went like "(norweigian)blah, blah, blah, Stanatics, blah, blah, blah", lol.
She also insisted that we should follow her on Twitter and Facebook.

OfflineI'm so jealous of all of you who got to meet Stana. I saw that she tweeted about meeting a bunch of people after the performance, so that must have been you lucky folks! Curse how I live on the opposite side of the country! Anyway, it's great to hear that she was so giving of her time, especially since she had to be on the set so early, and so nice to everyone. I have wondered what she is like in real life. I've watched her interviews on Jimmy Kimmel and other late shows and she seems really fun and outgoing, but in her interview on the red carpet for the SAG awards she seemed shy and almost uncomfortable. Maybe she'd just had a long day of getting ready.
Alas. I guess I'll have to be content having met a co-worker's daughter who played Ruthie in Home is Where the Heart Stops (Ep 1.7).

pamfromcalif:Maybe at the SAG Awards she was upset and embarrassed that they identified her as another actress all over the press & media, I'd be.
I thought it was only a website that misnamed her… So unless she was looking at that website, while walking the red carpet, she didn't know about it.
She seems to not like media circuses, which is what any red carpet is like.

pamfromcalif:A friend of mine who attended an after party in Venice said that photographers were calling Stana by the wrong name, yelling out to her to pose and it was for actress MB . It was the talk of the night in some places unfortunately.
Strange, considering every website corrected their error BEFORE the SAG Awards were finished… Which after party did your friend go to? I don't remember there being any in Venice, that's why I ask. I also thought Stana didn't go to the after parties. I just haven't seen pictures of her that weren't from the red carpet, but maybe I'm wrong and just haven't seen the pictures.
BTW, what does Stana have to do with Jane Seymour?

I read in local webnews that the documentary will air on tv in Norway sometime in 2010 (after her 3 month stint in Hollywood, so April at the earliest). I'll look for it to share with you if it contains anything from this night, but Lisa Stokke will probably post it online too.

At her Facebook Fan Page Lisa said that it will be documentary SERIES for NRK. So the episode with pieces of the play and interviews should be somewhere at the beginning of it, since it happened shortly after her arrival in LA…

With a bit of luck, the show will be available on the web http://www.nrk.no/programmer/s…..hollywood/
