With just over 20 minutes to go, I think we will have to settle for "Silver". Molly tried to assist, tweeting it but I think this poll really needed a Nathan tweet. I have no idea about Supernatural (is it even on in Australia????) However, I guess this shows about the vaguries of Internet polling with SN going on to win and not even being in the original list!!!
Hopefully all,our efforts for PCA will get us somewhere although the NCIS fandom will be hard to beat for the CrimeDrama award! Nathan has a great chance.
We are also up in 6 categories for awards on that nameless site but specific areas have not yet been named.
Thanks to everyone who voted. If you have 15 minutes to spare NOW, vote a few more times for % sake!

the thing with these polls, it's not really about it being for what is the top Drama rather than who has the most rabid fanbase.
Last I checked Castle was hovering around 17.7-17.8. Supernatural was hovering 23.6-23.7. Vampire Diaries was in third with 12.6.

Does the site tell you when the poll closes? Because I keep voting, but the website doesn't stop me.

I have a very strong suspicion that Supernatural fans were cheating in the poll, they had some automatic voting system set up. Otherwise it couldn't have been done.
Well, anyway, second place is not bad either

I'm not sure if this link has been posted here yet, but just in case you haven't seen it — there's a poll for the Best Writing of a Scripted Show of 2011 here: http://www.wetpaint.com/networ…..ng-of-2011 Castle is leading so far, but I couldn't find information about when does the voting end, and Vampire Diaries fans are getting very active, too.

And this is partly the reason why some members, including me, don't do E! Online polls anymore. When Castle was up for Best TV Show of 2010, a huge campaign was brought together to have Castle win. In the end, after a few rounds, it was Castle vs. Supernatural for the finals, but Supernatural won. It can be noted that Castle regularly got an increase in percentage with the international voters, at the time when American voters were asleep. You can read about the entire journey here.

Yesterday I voted until it stopped me, I've got to tell you: I make my whole family vote. I was like: You vote via iPad, you vote with your computer, you with your iPod. I still can't figure out how Supernatural win, I mean, it wasn't even in the trending nominees,but anyway, I guess we'll have the second place.

I already voted and the results say we have 43.07% of the votes, followed by The Vampir Diaries.

This new Wetpaint poll is intesting because of it's writers theme. It must be early in the voting because I've voted numerous times in the last few minutes and the % goes up each time. Last look we were 43.55 while VD were 18.6 but it IS late night US!
I've tweeted the cast and AWM and Terri about this…wouldn't hurt to see the cast honor their writers!
I read some of the frenzy from last year's Eonline poll – it was before my OCD set in – but Wow! You guys worked hard!
So I guess I'll ger my voting fingers (iPad) and hand (mouse-computer) out of their short hibernation and set out to vote again in my spare time!

All those internet-polls that allow to vote more than once and show the immediate results seem interesting in terms that they might predict the PCA results (though I don't know if PCA is basing only on on-line poll or do they have any off-line sources as well?). As all these polls seem to be actually about which show has more avid and tenacious internet fans.

Well, I hope so, too! Today, together with several friends (as OCD-ed as I ), we voted as often as we could, some of us from different places, some from the same one (as in both polls you are allowed to vote as often as you like), and we managed to achieve some visible results and raised (with whoever else was in game, of course) several points in percentage: from 44 to 50% at Wetpaint and from 19 to 23% at tv.com. Now it's getting really late here, so we pass the baton to those of you across the pond. Keep up voting, people, let's win this!

Under 50% now and TVD now at 22%. Have no idea when it finishes, though. So, if you have a spare minute, have a vote or 50!

Also remember to vote in the tv.com plls for the show and Alexis…links below. On the Castle one we've closed the gap from something 67%-18% to 51%-30% behind Criminal Minds. Alexis is also running second but closing the gap with Arya Stark from Game of Thrones
