OfflineNice article, cute image, but what was the most interesting to me: it's the first time that Stana are openly disagree with him on Caskett's future. Up till now they expressed their different opinions only when they were interviewed alone. Before someone starts blaming me, I'm not thinking for a second that there are any tension between them.
I see it as a sign from the PR of the show that they think it seriously to let them together soon and trying slowly change the course of the communication (which till now was mostly about how to keep them apart and why it is a good thing), convincing those ones who are affraid of losing the funny tension. The first sign was Andrew Marlow's two interviews, then this now.
I think that even in-house there are a lot of debate about it, not only among the creative staff, but with the program management of the studio. According to my experiences it's much easier to sell your unorthodox idea even to the toughest opponent than to a safe-playing board. I think we are lucky that in the last season Chuck and Bones showed the possible outcome of a "let them do it" to our favour: Chuck raised after this step, while the echo of the Bones finale was definitely more negative than positive. Seems that the writers has got the "go" by now and that's why it is more openly communicated.
I'm really very-very glad to see this!!!!

Funny coincidence, I just saw this on another site.
Thanks for posting it here, though.

OfflineThanks for posting halaci. That was a really great article and a fantastic picture!
I loved the "what the H?" banter, appreciated Stana's answer about getting them together as always, and enjoyed Nathan's description of Stana's trick (which I have noticed in several scenes!).
It is nice to see their differing perspectives on the will they/won't they together in the same article.

When i first read this i was actually pretending that i was doing schoolwork, so as i was scrolling my mom suddenly peeks in and looks at what i'm doing, and luckily the word 'Chemistry' the first word she saw…one little scroll up and she would've seen 'Castle's Killer'

OfflineSo glad to see someone posted this in a separate place – I had made a comment in another thread but it was the wrong place. I referred to it as TV Guide Sept. 20-26 because that's the date on the cover, not Sept. 14, so I overlooked this thread here. Anyway — to repeat what I said in the wrong place – I agree – amazing photo of the two, shows their chemistry and I wish there had been a photo like this at the premiere party! Love what Stana said about wanting them to get together…at least someone is on the same page as many of us. Previously, I'd heard her say swordplay was more sexy (said this at the Paley event), so it's a step forward, not that it will necessarily mean anything. Love the interplay between them, as mentioned. And I never noticed the "trick" Nathan noticed – now will have to look for it, unless she'll not use it anymore! Can't wait for Monday!

She does it at the very end of the "cherries" moment in Vampire Weekend and while she and Castle are looking at a file together in A Chill Goes Through her Veins. I'm sure there have been more times!

OfflineThanks so much for scanning the article. That picture is one of the most adorable that I've seen of the two of them. And it is interesting how Stana & Nathan disagree on whether or not the show would end if Castle & Beckett got together. I'm definitely with Stana, not just because I want these two together, but because lots of TV shows with male & female main characters end when the two hook up. I'd like to see this show try it differently. And if the directors/writers, etc. want to put these two through lots of hurdles before they get together, then I think their relationship would definitely last awhile once they do get together. They'd have built a solid foundation upon which to grow. So, poo-poo to you Nathan!
