I found this on the [filtered] site and it's apparently from the new issue of TV Guide. I didn't get my copy today so I'll have to see tomorrow.

We already know most of the spoilers but I thought the last part was awesome.

Castle is bringing in the heat in 2011 — as in Nikki
Heat. The heroine of Castle’s books, who’s based on Det. Kate Beckett,
is getting her own big-screen incarnation. In the January 3 episode, the
actress cast to play Nikki, former scream queen Natalie Rhodes (Laura
Prepon), shows up to shadow Beckett (Stana Katic) as she investigates
the murder of a high-profile match maker. “Natalie is very Method, so
there’s a little ‘Single White Female’ going on, which freaks Beckett
out,” says exec producer Andrew Marlowe. “But as Natalie becomes more
Beckett-like, the more Castle likes her.”

Melrose Place’s Thomas Calabro also guest stars in the episode as a murder suspect, while Brothers & Sisters
hottie Gilles Marini appears in the January 10 installment as a
world-famous magician. Also coming up: an episode that further explores
the conspiracy surrounding the murder of Beckett’s mom, and a case
involving an old prep-school pal of Castle (Nathan Fillion). Beyond
that, fans should get ready for a pivotal two-parter during February
sweeps. “We’re still nailing down the details of the story,” says
Marlowe, “but it will be explosive.”

What episodes would those be? 15, 16? Seems like the explosive will be more emotional than physical given the timeline and Josh's future return.

So excited about another (explosive) 2-parter.  I hope it will be during Feb sweeps and turn in some really fabulous numbers…I wonder if a hiatus will be coming in March, then?  I have to try to prepare myself for these things…  Last year there was a break most of Feb, but the olymics were a factor.

I also like the wording of things regarding the Nikki Heat episode.  It's Gray looking more like Beckett that interests Castle.  I have to imagine that inevitably this gets pointed out by someone (and hopefully Beckett is made aware as well.)

Well, may I first say that I was a little taken aback when I first read this….however, since I've read peoples comments, I feel a bit better. I like how its because the actress begins to look more like Beckett and thats why Castle's all interested. I am so hoping that someone points this out to both Castle and Beckett like maybe Martha, Esposito, or Lanie, knocking some sense into them. Also, this two parter sounds really exciting, I just hope that nothing is blown up again, although if it is, does that mean that Castle's place needs to be blown up this time to swtich things? up…lol jkjk
 

Actually, I think the two parter may have something to do with "3xk" and there was a spoiler of Kate becoming a target of a serial killer, so maybe "3xk" targets Beckett to get to Castle? oh, the possiblilites!!

I forgot about the recuring 3xk story.  I bet you're right about that being thr two parter.

That seems to be the most logical next step, SKB.  It's a story line they haven't touched on yet and will definitely bring the gang closer together, and especially Castle & Beckett if one of them gets hurt.  Beckett was already threatened last season and survived, so it would make sense for someone else to get hurt.  Another possibility that I've been eager to see them do would be Alexis' getting kidnapped.
