ABC's "Castle" is the most delightful TV series. I'm curious about leads Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic.
Sandra Martin, Hayward, Calif.
It's the chemistry between Fillion, 38, a TV and movie vet, and Katic, 31, a relative unknown, that makes "Castle" so delightful. And she tells us it's owed to clever writing and her co-star's charm: "He makes it easy to bounce things back and forth." Chemistry leads to questions about putting the characters together; Katic, who's single, can see both sides, "but, I wonder, why is there this myth that once people get together, there isn't play anymore? … People are married and still have wonderful relationships."

Now I'm super confused…. This newspaper is saying she's 31?

Stana just solidified my girl-crush on her. lol I have been saying that very thing (re: play continues once you're a couple) for months.

Yes, it's nice to see Stana thinks so too. I actually think their relationship will be spicer. Hopefully, Beckett will come around to that line of thinking too.

I really look forward to seeing Beckett's awkwardness when they do start dating. How she'll balance it with work and all of that will absolutely be fun to watch. I really think the possibilities as to where they could go with it are endless. And you know we'll get some fabulous Ryan/Esposito moments. I truly can't wait to see more. Monday can't come soon enough.

What I imagine is Beckett trying to keep it a secret for a while and Castle dropping double entendre's all over the place to torture her. And as we've seen, Beckett can even up the score when she wants to 
And all along Ryan and Esposito will suspect something is going on and keep up the "are we interrupting" moments."
I think that would be keep up the tension going nicely.

Yeah I can totally imagine her telling Castle to keep it on the down low
when they start dating and go to the precienct.

see this is not what im understnading correct me if im wrong i think it would be fun to get them toghther cause as couples in the real world they have fights and almsot break up with the way castle acts and beckett's rules im sure there will be alot of couples fights and they have a moment were things get so heavy they make us think there break up but then it takes a turn cause we all know how sweet castle can be too. thats my opinon

I would enjoy seeing that aspect of their relationship, but I don't want years of make up/break up. That doesn't sound as though that is what you're suggesting thecastlefan, but I am putting it out there nonetheless. Normal couples fight and argue, but make up/break up seems SO out of character for Beckett. She herself has said that she is more or less "once and done" as far as relationships go, so I hope that when the writers (finally) take us there, they make it realistic. They can't have Castle do anything that is too horrific because I think it would be hard for her character, at least as we know her, to forgive that. I think in that regard, they do have to plan this out fairly well.

i completely agree. i want castle and kate together just as much as anyone, but i'm quite enjoying the tension and once they get together there's the inevitable break-up. (it's like a tv rule that if a couple gets together too soon then it's a constant will they won't they til the end) and like you pointed out, kate is not one to go back and forth between being together and not being together.
i guess what i'm saying is that i'd rather have the tension and antcipate them together then have them get together too soon and anticipate the inevitable break-up.
