I find it amusing to listen to Castle and Beckett talking Spanish or German… or listen to the promos in Italian (for the book!) and Polish…

I love languages. I just watched Dr. Horribles Sing Along Blog making of video and I have to agree with Joss – if I could have a super power, it should be to speak all languages!

Thank youuuuuuu!!! I'm obsessed with languages, too, and I was watching Castle in German and Italian (even though I barely speak German and hardly understand Italian) for the heck of it while I was in Switzerland a few months ago. I've been youtubing for the German clips and hadn't been able to find any! So, yay!!  I have no idea why, but I've always found watching my favorite shows in different languages to be amusing.

at 1:31 there's the original "Scout's honor" which was switched in the final cut to locking Castle in the car… probably so that Beckett could be up front kicking the door down…
I've seen parts of it here and there, but this is the longest cut I've seen of it. Or, I probably saw it a year ago, but forgot…

Kinda reminds me when I went to see the movie Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor, bear with me). Film's in Russian, but in one scene there's a TV with Buffy The Vampire Slayer. In English. With Russian subtitles on the screen. And whoever did the subtitles felt the need to translate the Russian into English again. And it didn't match what Buffy was saying.

Wonder if someone translated those back, without a script to work off, how different would it be?
